nice people, great tacos, low prices.  what else could you want in a taqueria?

i recommend the carne asada and pork in green chile tacos.  the aqua de jamacia is also a favorite.

outstanding. got two carne asada tacos and a pork and green sauce taco. the amount of meat that they give you is astounding. this place was great.

i ate here friday and had the number 13 , it tasted like bad .the owner was cooking on the grill and put nothing but pure fat in my burrito ! i will never eat here again ! i was a customer for over 10 years ! shame on you mr. owner of los comales !!!

best authentic mexican food i have found in the oklahoma city area. if your looking for flavor and good food this is the place . i've been eating here since 2007 and its always excellent food and not expensive at all.

this is a nice little taqueria in a part of town flush with decent little taco spots and trucks. the staff is always friendly and there is no language barrier. i have never felt nervous about ordering here like i have other places. they have good tacos and a pretty extensive menu for a small place. i recommend their pork tortas (sandwich) or a chicken quesadilla. it can get a little pricey when you start ordering a la carte but their combos are quite reasonable. great for lunch.

this place has a large menu and can be rather intimidating to those not familiar with traditional mexican street style cuisine. don't be afraid to ask questions. they may have a lot of dishes that you are unfamiliar with. the red pork burrito has to be one of my favorite items on the menu but i'm pretty happy with most anything they serve. one of my favorite things about this establishment is the sheer variety of raw sugar mexican colas, especially the fresca which is a rare find at a restaurant in oklahoma city.

things have changed!. i used to like this place a lot. the carne asada in particular was so flavorful and tender. went yesterday and there is a new menu and prices are up by about 30%. i was willing to pay the extra cost for great food, but the quality is gone. meat was just grey and tasteless with gristle and veins in it. i didn't recognize anyone working there. could be a change in ownership. who knows. so disappointing when one of your go-to places loses it's luster. seriously bummed. on the hunt for a replacement.

good food. first time visit by recommendation of three friends.the pork with red sauce was quite tasty and had a mild spice. the pork with green sauce was spicy but had little flavor. also had the chips with avocado sauce, which was incredibly spicy but extremely fresh and flavorful. i'll be back for more pork with red sauce and to try a few other tacos.

a breakfast place that is closed for breakfast.. los comales is a good example of what is wrong with america. this is a breakfast restaurant that doesn’t open until 8am. america starts business at 8am, and we need to be able to buy our breakfast on our way to work – which means you need to open at 7am!

people – use your brains! if i must be at work by 8am, and you don’t open until 8am, how can i possibly buy your burritos?!

solution: open 1 hour earlier – increase your business exponentially. close one hour earlier – everyone works the same hours. problem solved.

fail the hell's kitchen test for flavor!. taco's way to greasey food taste very dull in blend flavors.
i could never recommend this place , nor ask them to try out this place,
it just earn 5 empty star spot.
the chef has to learn how to use spices in it food recipes just making blend taco's does no justice for the food taste.
if the chef like his own food the way it taste don't assume everybody else will.
you have got to change your taste and try something with spices and forget the white folk remark about your food, since they don't know what mexican food should taste like in the first places. as for now this chef need to re-do his menu all together and come up with some real flavors in using spices.

if you like bland food.... we had high hopes for this place especially with all the great reviews. unfortunately the food was just bland, like no seasonings at all bland. we ordered a variety of items too, so it was not like we just ordered the wrong thing. the only seasoning was hot sauce and we were very disappointed. it was a clean place though.

?? all the good reviews ??. went there on a late sat. afternoon, after all the good reviews on this site. our party of 4 ordered, service was prompt, (no other customers at this time, none when we left) food was blah, meat was dry and tough in our burritos, as if it had been sitting out all day. maybe not the time of day to eat there. will not go back!
however, i will state that the dinning area was very clean.

i love this place! i really enjoy authentic good and this is no let down. the food is great and atmosphere is fun. it's like a taco stand, yet inside. order at the counter and sit and wait. no chips and dip here, but nevertheless...awesome food.

best bang for the buck. bargain at a much higher price. food servings quality and taste are memorable. diner like atmosphere. spacious, clean and the staff are courteous. 5 stars!
