local 44 is a popular bar for locals and college students alike. specializing inlocalbeers, the restaurant has a nice selection of seasonal and year-round brews to choose from. they have a full menu to choose from for food as well, with many options vegetarian. firstly, i think that their gnocchi is by far my favorite vegetarian dish here. the pasta is cooked with fresh vegetables in a light sauce, giving a hearty flavor to the pasta. the seitan nuggets are good and the macaroni and cheese is alright, nothing special. the quinoa burger is pretty good, but a little dry (make sure to apply some sort of condiment). i've been here a few times, and each time has been positive. the staff is helpful and friendly and the prices are reasonable.
