on my first visit i didn't have their wings, only a build-your-own burger, and a coated, fried hotdog; however i thought, if these items were any indication of the quality of their signature wings, i am hooked, and will be back often. i loved the soft bun and freshness of the ingredients on the burger, and the crispyhotdog was unique and awesome!

on my second visit a few days later, i tried the 'smokey ranch' wings. seasonings aside, the wings themselves were very good... not mushy but crispy and coated well.

i can't wait to try everything on the menu :)

i've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, so why not during the grey cup. i'm glad i did!
i had the double bacon cheese burger. the patties were thick and hand made fresh and the bun was nice and soft. i ordered it with the teriyaki mayo, which i found a tad on the sweet side by the end, but still tasty. there wasn't much else between the bun but beef bacon and cheese. but who's complaining?

this place has sauce options... i only scratched the surface. the wings i ordered were the "byou with bite" and were the right amount of spice if your looking for something not overwhelminglyhotand more flavourful then just franks. they were dripping in sauce with a nice crispy bite.
i plan on exploring more saucy wing options...

great selection of sauces for your wings. i ordered the honey garlic andhotspicy chicken and was very tasty. the spicy wings goes well with a cold beer-lol. they also have a food truck parked around the city. i will definitely go back to try other flavours.

i enjoy little bones! not the cheapest wings you can get but their sauces are unique and delicious. i enjoy the "spicyhotspicy" which is flavorful but doesn't burn your tongue. wings are always fresh!

little bones wingery has large flavour!. as my name says, i love anything spicy, and in my search for a hotter more flavourful and insane wing, i happened to come across little bones whilst visiting the transcona hi-neighbour street festival on regent. i liked their funky truck design, so i thought, all right let's see if they have somehotwings worthy of the chili lunatic. i looked over their nicely layed out menu. i asked the lady if the "spicyhotspicy" were the hottest wings they had, which is what i thought, but she said that their "near death experience" wings were the hottest, and with a name like that i was happy, she said are you sure you want those? your one of those guys, the other guy in the truck said, they told me people ordered these and could never finish an order. well i ordered them, and contrary to what some snobs on this site say, they were ready in 11 or so minutes, so i opened the box, and wow, you could feel the heat comin out of them, and very pungent flavour. well i tried one, and wham! the heat and intensity of the wings were like a freight train hitting a pontiac firefly, i was impressed, he must of either used the bhut jolokia or trinidad moruga scorpion pepper in them, cause i haven't tried anything ashotbefore or since. well i went back to the truck and showed them that i finished the whole box, even the toppings, and they were in awe, the owner was sitting on the curb and was shocked that i finished the whole thing. great job little bones wingery, and i should find you before fall is out. keep up the good work.

slightly disappointing food truck fare. i tried this food truck for lunch this week and doubt i will try it again.

the menu is somewhat impressive for a food truck. there are a few non chicken wing options, mainly side dishes. however, they advertise themselves as specializing in chicken wings and this is what i elected to go with.

there are 14 different styles of wings. some of the standards as well as a few innovative ones. i tried the lemon pepper. it took about 15 minutes for my order to be filled. while that is standard in a sit down restaurant, it seemed like an eternity while waiting at a food truck. when i received my order from a cheerful employee who thanked me for waiting, the first thing i noticed was how small the wings were. the price is $7 for 7 wings (you can get 14 for $11). the wings had a slight lemon flavour to them, but i couldn't detect any spice to them. this is despite the claim that they had some "zing" to them. they were served hot, no complaints about that. the breading wasn't soggy, but it was far from crunchy. while these wings were not sauced, i did watch them prepare other orders and as other posters have noted...they simply squeeze some sauce out of a bottle on the pile of wings and do not toss them in sauce.

overall i was disappointed. the small wings are overpriced and are average in flavour. while i applaud the business for providing something different in a sea ofhotdog carts, the end result is somewhat underwhelming.

great flavours. this is a food truck that specializes in chicken wings!! i love wings so i was excited to try this place when i saw it at the fringe (on king street by old market square), though they are usually found on ellice avenue. the truck offers up 27 different flavours - all breaded chicken wings. there are even some side dishes like fried pickles, which i didn't get to try. there are "specialty wings" that have stuff topped on the wings like poutine, nachos, spaghetti and near death (lots of chili peppers on top). then there are the regular wings with various sauces. you get get a single order of 7 wings for $7 or a double order which is 14 wings for $11. the wing size is similar to earls' wings. if you get a double order, you can choose 2 flavours for a double order. the flavours include lemon pepper, honey garlic, salt and pepper, sweet chili teriyaki, frank'shotsauce, spicyhotetc.

i wasn't too thrilled when i heard that they only sold breaded wings as i prefer the non-breaded wings. but i have to say their breading is nicely flavoured and not overly battered - a plus. the wings were prepped pretty quickly so it didn't seem like they were actually fried to order from its raw state. the wings were warm so i think they likely just flashed fried them again to order and then they pour your chosen sauce over the wings. so the downside is that the wings are tossed with the sauce. i wasn't a fan of this aspect because when you have wings, you want them to be evenly coated in the chosen flavour. that being said, i did enjoy the various sauces as they were well made and had great flavour. the salt and pepper did not have a sauce but had good balance of both - very good classic wing flavour. the surprising hit for me was the honey garlc - i don't normally like honey garlic as it's usually overly sweet with no discernible garlic flavour but this sauce had a very distinct honey and garlic flavour without being overly sweet. great flavour! i tried the frankhotsauce - which was a bit too vinegary and overpowering, partly attributed to it not being tossed with the sauce evenly. the zorro is sweet flavoured sauce that has some citrus and very strong ginger flavours - there's definitely some asian flavours in that one. the zorro wasn't my fave but it has a strong and unique flavour. the bayou is another good one - a creamy chipotle flavour, smooth taste with a subtle hit of smokiness.

overall, a fun food truck to try. the wings aren't greasy, the batter is good and there are a ton of interesting flavours but you just have to look past the fact that they don't toss your wings in the sauce (which is a slight bummer).

i was hanging at the fringe at decided to try one of the food trucks. the wing truck looked promising so we decided to order two pounds of wings. i hate to say it but we were dissapointed. the wings were cold, over breaded, and they just squirted sauce on them from a squirt bottle. i thought they would at least toss them in sauce so they were evenly coating. some of the wings are soaked in sauce while others are extremely dry. i was also dissapointed with the portions because two pounds of wings equals 14 wings. i assumed one pound to equal around 10??? all around it was a disappointing experience and i probably won't go back. make them more meaty, evenly sauced, andhotand you will have met the three main components of a good wing.

what a great idea!. i went today to try this out due to an article on facebook. upon arriving and looking at the menu i was disappointed to see that the wings are breaded as breaded wings usually come soggy and greasy. well not these! i swear if you ordered them without sauce you could eat them with white gloves on. so crispy and nicely cooked....

i got a full (double?) order for $11 (taxes in) and it was too much for me. i had half spicyhotand half frank's thick which were bothhotenough to turn my brushcut into a dripping heat exchanger! i recommend getting only half withhotsauce and half with one of the other, milder sauces. i would have enjoyed the texture more then. also, the owner seems like a real peach.

this street eatery is a sure winner.
