this was third disappointing visit in a row and by far the worst. used to order 14 wings and leave feeling full and satisfied. this last visit was tasty but the wing sizes were pretty sad. of 14 wings only two drums, 12 flats. of the 12 flats, 4 were the size of my baby finger, none of the wings were big like in the past. i told the waitress when i paid that i was disappointed. she exclaimed that lbw was unhappy with granny’s and that the mixed boxes have been coming in unusually small. assuming lbw buys wings by the pound, not by piece, they might be well advised to add more wings, or pay to buy bigger wings. i’ve told so many people to go here, feel bad that things are notgreatanymore. sadly, i just can’t see going back. none of the other people at our table were particularly happy with their portions either.

long review time! so let me start out by saying i've been to little bones wings a ton of times the past couple years, and each time has been amazing but i've never written a review. but... the last time we went was this past weekend and i had to write a review about it.

the servers are always polite, the food is alwaysgreatand the service is always timely. it is a little small inside but there's always take out!

my boyfriend (meat eater), sister (vegan) and i (vegetarian) went and ordered our faves, fried pickle chips, fried mushrooms, mac n cheese bites, and wings, bone in for him and veggie "tofu" wings for my sister and i, and the waitress told us she had to check for veggie wings so we were like "oh no if there's none what will we do they're our favorite!" sadly she came back to say they didn't have any but she could offer us cauliflower which was alright with me but they had milk so my sister couldn't have them, so the waitress ended up calling the owners and they drove to the store to buy tofu, while we happily waited about half an hour for them. it arrived, they were made fresh and brought to us right away, and it was so worth the wait. we left with full tummies like usual, and leftovers! we will be life time customers of little bones wings and we always look forward to our night there every few months, thank you for catering to all us veggie eaters! we would go more often but we live 8 hours away 😭😭 thank you lbw ❤️🐔

hands down the best wings i have ever tasted. they are meaty and fresh - apparently never frozen. and the 75 flavours are incredible. had excellent service from carla. she was very knowledgeable and hadgreatrecommendations. have already tried about 15 different flavours and they have yet to disappoint. love the salads too - chicken caesar, taco, slaw. all are excellent. and farmery beer on tap to compliment it all. going to be a regular.

great wings, ate at their restaurant which has a cozy laid back dive bar feel. the wing sauces are so good. the sweet chilli teriyaki and the bayou with a kick were our favourites. in fact that bayou sauce might be one of the worlds tastiest sauces hands down. they also offer vegan wings which isgreatfor those who eat less or no meat. they look boring but actually have agreatlight crisp to them and juicy in the centre so the texture is perfect to soak up the sauce. got a chance to talk to the owner some too, he seems like a reallygreatguy with agreatlocal business. now we order a snack every time we see the truck at events!

huge meaty wings with a ton of different sauces and coating options.  very tasty!  i'm not huge into really spicy stuff, but 2/5 stars on their rating should probably have more kick than the 'on the bayou' and caribbean something-or-others did.  more beer options would be nice.  service wasgreatand it was nice an cozy for being a basement joint.  if you want a window, this isn't the place for you.

would go again!

best wings in town. after hesitating about visiting this little place in downtown t-cona (it's under the royal george afterall, who would want to visit?!), i finally conceded to going with a few friends and this place was fantastic! i had ordered 2 orders of wings, the pineapple curry and the hdlpt (honey dill, lemon pepper tango) and they were so delicious. they were filling, tangy, saucy and delightful. on a second visit i had the backyard bbq (mmmm) and the regular dill pickle, unfortunately they weren't that great, they were dry with a ton of dill seasoning on them, but i just dipped them into the sauce of the bbq ones and they tasted pretty good.
i really like the atmosphere and yes it can take a while to get your food, but you really get a vibe for chilling with friends and enjoying the night out for wings. this place has renewed my love for wings i would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get out with friends and enjoy somegreatwings.

we went to little bones last night which is now located in the basement of the royal george hotel on regent. they have tons of flavours of wings. we had three different kinds and they were all great. we also had their checker fries which were good too. only issue we had was you get charged for every drink you order. my husband had two iced teas and each were $2.25 and the glasses were not even very big. also we got charged $2.00 for a small side of sauce for our fries. other than that everything wasgreatand we will be back.

little bones wingery has large flavour!. as my name says, i love anything spicy, and in my search for a hotter more flavourful and insane wing, i happened to come across little bones whilst visiting the transcona hi-neighbour street festival on regent. i liked their funky truck design, so i thought, all right let's see if they have some hot wings worthy of the chili lunatic. i looked over their nicely layed out menu. i asked the lady if the "spicy hot spicy" were the hottest wings they had, which is what i thought, but she said that their "near death experience" wings were the hottest, and with a name like that i was happy, she said are you sure you want those? your one of those guys, the other guy in the truck said, they told me people ordered these and could never finish an order. well i ordered them, and contrary to what some snobs on this site say, they were ready in 11 or so minutes, so i opened the box, and wow, you could feel the heat comin out of them, and very pungent flavour. well i tried one, and wham! the heat and intensity of the wings were like a freight train hitting a pontiac firefly, i was impressed, he must of either used the bhut jolokia or trinidad moruga scorpion pepper in them, cause i haven't tried anything as hot before or since. well i went back to the truck and showed them that i finished the whole box, even the toppings, and they were in awe, the owner was sitting on the curb and was shocked that i finished the whole thing.greatjob little bones wingery, and i should find you before fall is out. keep up the good work.

great flavours. this is a food truck that specializes in chicken wings!! i love wings so i was excited to try this place when i saw it at the fringe (on king street by old market square), though they are usually found on ellice avenue. the truck offers up 27 different flavours - all breaded chicken wings. there are even some side dishes like fried pickles, which i didn't get to try. there are "specialty wings" that have stuff topped on the wings like poutine, nachos, spaghetti and near death (lots of chili peppers on top). then there are the regular wings with various sauces. you get get a single order of 7 wings for $7 or a double order which is 14 wings for $11. the wing size is similar to earls' wings. if you get a double order, you can choose 2 flavours for a double order. the flavours include lemon pepper, honey garlic, salt and pepper, sweet chili teriyaki, frank's hot sauce, spicy hot etc.

i wasn't too thrilled when i heard that they only sold breaded wings as i prefer the non-breaded wings. but i have to say their breading is nicely flavoured and not overly battered - a plus. the wings were prepped pretty quickly so it didn't seem like they were actually fried to order from its raw state. the wings were warm so i think they likely just flashed fried them again to order and then they pour your chosen sauce over the wings. so the downside is that the wings are tossed with the sauce. i wasn't a fan of this aspect because when you have wings, you want them to be evenly coated in the chosen flavour. that being said, i did enjoy the various sauces as they were well made and hadgreatflavour. the salt and pepper did not have a sauce but had good balance of both - very good classic wing flavour. the surprising hit for me was the honey garlc - i don't normally like honey garlic as it's usually overly sweet with no discernible garlic flavour but this sauce had a very distinct honey and garlic flavour without being overly sweet.greatflavour! i tried the frank hot sauce - which was a bit too vinegary and overpowering, partly attributed to it not being tossed with the sauce evenly. the zorro is sweet flavoured sauce that has some citrus and very strong ginger flavours - there's definitely some asian flavours in that one. the zorro wasn't my fave but it has a strong and unique flavour. the bayou is another good one - a creamy chipotle flavour, smooth taste with a subtle hit of smokiness.

overall, a fun food truck to try. the wings aren't greasy, the batter is good and there are a ton of interesting flavours but you just have to look past the fact that they don't toss your wings in the sauce (which is a slight bummer).

what agreatidea!. i went today to try this out due to an article on facebook. upon arriving and looking at the menu i was disappointed to see that the wings are breaded as breaded wings usually come soggy and greasy. well not these! i swear if you ordered them without sauce you could eat them with white gloves on. so crispy and nicely cooked....

i got a full (double?) order for $11 (taxes in) and it was too much for me. i had half spicy hot and half frank's thick which were both hot enough to turn my brushcut into a dripping heat exchanger! i recommend getting only half with hot sauce and half with one of the other, milder sauces. i would have enjoyed the texture more then. also, the owner seems like a real peach.

this street eatery is a sure winner.
