updated review since the manager wrote back to me and promised to take corrective action. i initially rated 1 based on the service. i am updating to a 3 since thefoodwas very good. i initially complained about the terrible service we received that day. it was our first visit to this place. i wanted to treat my son and daughter-in-law to a nice supper in their new neighbourhood. i made it clear to our server that the bill (one bill) should come to me. firstly, after bringing out beer, the server made us wait about 15 minutes before coming back to take our order. i went on to order two beers for myself, extrafoodfor the table to share, and ordered the grilled salmon for myself. secondly, when bringing ourfoodto the table, the server said something about ordering a lot of food. she made us uncomfortable about the amount offoodwe ordered. thirdly, the server let my daughter-in-law pay for the entire bill, this despite me making it clear that i wanted the bill. lastly, as we walked through the restaurant to leave, i asked the server about bringing me the bill and she said, “oh, she got to me first.” the server made the whole experience pretty embarrassing for me and my family.
