came here for dinner last thursday evening and the place was packed. waiter advised us would be a 45 minute wait for the food, i was feeling like a few drinks so i didn’t mind the wait. we waited at the bar for a table to open up and it wasn’t long. ordered fried calamari and chicken pizza to start, both were average not worth remembering. then our mains of spaghetti and crabrisottocame out with garlic bread and it was so yum.risottowas so creamy and delicious and spaghetti was good. service was good, our waiter took care of us even though it was busy, definitely will visit again.

wouldn’t say this place is authentic italian. ordered the arancini for entree which was tasty, however i had the slightest feeling packetrisottowas used for the filling but unsure..
i had the crabrisottofor main which isn’t what i was expecting - i found this to be way too creamy and struggled to taste and find the crab which was supposed to be the star of the dish. it went well with the crispy parmesan and prosciutto on top due to therisottonot having much flavour itself but i think much less cream/sauce and chunkier crab would have been a lot better.
my mum got the crayfish ravioli which she found had too much going on in the plate and struggled to taste the flavours well.
on a side note the broccolini was nice & crunchy!

we ordered take away ravioli andrisottobecause it was raining. but the food is so unique and awesome, despite of being in takeaway containers. will definitely come back next time.

the food itself is nice. but wait time is too long (45mins for starters, 1 hour for main). most interesting thing is: i already finished myrisottobefore the waitress finally come up with a side dish that’s supposed to go with my risotto. but she took it back immediately, saying ‘never mind because therisottois already finished’, leaving us wondering what just happened?!

not recommended....

beautiful dinner date after a long tiring day full of activities in rotorua, therisottowasn't the best but everything else was super delicious. ✌🏼️
