serves authentic italian food in town. the restaurant is quite spacious so it never feels crowded. the service is up to the mark. little bit overpriced though.

it is hard to write anything that is not already written about this incredible place. the place is just so delightful, the food is exceptionally fresh, and the everything is just so magnificent!!

we went twice to this place, each time i had quiche - which was a truly a piece of art. we also had pasta and pizza verdure which was just so mouth watering. the chef, he personally pays attention to everything that goes on. the experience was worth to be present there.

if you are the kind of person who is fussy about your food or is in a hurry give it a miss as you not appreciate the place but for all others do not miss it. incredible in what is essential and the place is must a visit to all the italian lovers.

well done and keep up the good work.

spaghetti aglio e olio - minimalistic food at its best, spaghetti drizzled with flavoured olive oil, garlic and chilly, leonardo restaurant aces this dish to perfection.

swipe right, for a delicious cannelloni, stuffed with corn, spinach and cottage cheese, topped with pink sauce and cooked to perfection.

had delicious crispy potato in hunan sauce, extremely beautiful in presentation and even better in taste.

pre-diwali lunch could not have been better.

p. s. have already yelled enough that leonardo is my second favorite italian restaurant in surat, but my first favourite multi-cuisine restaurant that serves italian?

finally an italian restaurant which servers authentic food and not the same old sub standard pizza ad pasta. the salads are very fresh and well made. loved the mushroom risotto there. it was full of flavours yet subtle. no over powering taste of cheese was something i liked. the tiramisu is to die for. it's the best i've had in surat. highly recommended for people who like genuine italian food.

genuinely authentic italian food. love this place. has been my family's favourite for the quality of food. not indian-ised thankfully.
must try the ravioli and tiramisu. lip smacking..!! also the risotto and the gnocchi :) (ooh and the eggplant dish was to die for!! )
value for money. decent proportions. tad bit slow on service but the other factors makes it all even. well lit interiors and pleasant ambience. big thumbs up. definitely worth a try and u'll keep returning.

i've been waiting for so long for zomato to include surat in its list and especially this restaurant.
leonardo's is the most authentic italian place this city has seen. the recipes remain truly italian in their flavors and thankfully haven't been surti-fied (too much cheese and sugar is how most surtis love their italian). what's more the head chef is an italian himself - giuseppe.
i have eaten here on two different ocassions and both times come away happy, sated and grinning like an idiot.
the food is served piping hot and in generous portions. and when i say generous, i mean generous.
for starters, i absolutely loved their baked vegetable pie (verdure arrostite al forno) and the napoli style bruschetta.
in the main course we ordered stuffed ravioli with pesto sauce and risotto primavera. the ravioli was thin, delicate and perfectly cooked. the pesto sauce wasn't overpowering and made a lovely combo. the risotto with vegetables had a good amount of vegetables as promised and was perfectly cooked too.
but if you do go to this place do not come away without tasting their tiramisu - i was utterly and completely hooked.
this was the best tiramisu i've ever had (even better than the countless tiramisus i've eaten in cafes all over italy)
verdict:
#1 place to eat italian in surat
