a tiny gem!. were it not for site's like urbanspoon, i might not ever have known about lj's, it's that small and unassuming. just a stoop with a couple of red chairs and a sandwich board on the sidewalk, but once you open the shabby-chic door, you're presented with a glass case full of wonder and delight. these folks know how to bake! everything sparkles, from sweets to savories, and your only problem will be in making achoice- i wanted it all! companion and i settled for a slice of quiche and salad, with a biscuit to split. both savory pies were excellent - leek for me and bacon for her. and the biscuit was exceptional: just the right crunch on the outside, but soft and flavorful in the crumb.
