with all the new resto bars gushing into chennai every now and then it gets pretty hard to find a good one that provides us a decent dining experience. and in my recent discovery, lattice seems to be one such amazing place that is quite promising qith all the amenities it provides, like great service, brilliant food, and attractive ambience.

theirbaris yet to function, and so we tried a few of their mocktails. im not at all a mocktail person, but lattice have got my mind blowing with their incredible range of interesting mocktails which are the best ive ever tried. i just couldn't stop thinking about how great they tasted. and then moving on to their food, even some vegetarian dishes which we didn't have much expectations, left us with so much wow expressions thw entire time we were there!! a couple of dishes were not upto the mark which we later notified them. apart from that, everything seemed perfect. and then comes the desserts which once again won our hearts. my favourite was their fried ice-cream, the best i've had so far. woah!!

i completely fell in love with their ambience, like the entire 3 storey restobarwas eye pleasing. i'd totally recommend this place to anybody who's looking out for a restobarthat can no way go wrong ❤️

i tried the mexican grilled salad, malaysian lotus stem, cottage cheese tacos and brownie with ice cream. i absolutely enjoyed each one!!! no complaints at all. the salad was outstanding.

we ordered two drinks as well - blue sip and another one with apple ( sorry i forgot the name). i was asked for feedback regarding the food and i told them i liked everything except the apple drink and to my surprise they didn't charge me for it. i did not expect that but i was won over.

the manager was friendly and kind and even showed us thebarthat was going to open and boy does it look stunning! i can't wait for it to open. hope thebarmenu is equally impressive!

so this is the new restobarwhich has opened up on the borders of adyar. this one is near adyar depot. went over here with my friends and had a good time. this is such a lavish place, the ambience is just to lit. nice and cozy ambience with good seating. the place is big and spacious, can accommodate like 50 plus people at a time. this gives a goodbarfeel with the lightings over here. so now let me brief about the food experience that we had over here.  
 
to start with i had buffalo chicken wings, there were around 6 pieces of this, the chicken was soft and tender. point to note is that they were really tangy, it was good to be honest. next was the ebi tempura prawns, the prawns, the tiger prawns* were looking gorgeous! they were long and friend well to a golden colour. the prawns were probably one of the best i have ever tasted. they were crispy and tasted good. next was the bang bang chicken, these were like rolls. they were a bit crunchy and served along with a dip. these were a good combination. moving on we had chicken pie tee. were presented to us in an edible cup, it has chicken and some green gram and some other thing in it. this was one hell of a dish. i had it with the sweet dip and it was delicious, like very delicious. i really loved that dish.  
 
next i had some chicken dim sims, there were around 6 pieces. they came along with 3 different dips. never have i ever seen 3 dips gives for something like this. the chicken dim sims had a soft nice covering on it, the minced chicken inside. it was really good. next was the grilled steak lamb. a really well presented steak with vegetables on the side and the steak in the middle along with extra steak sauce. the lamb stead had a lot of flavour in it. tastes good and also the lamb meat was soft and easy to chew.  
 
now we had ordered some drinks over here. we tried litchi sunrise and cranberry min. these were basically mocktails. the juices were really refreshing. if had during the afternoon time right after we enter the restaurant, it will really give you a lot of energy. you will feel refreshed and have energy to eat.  
 
now for the main course we first had murgh biriyani. this was basically chicken biriyani on an all new level. the biriyani was amazing with papad, curd and all. it felt different while having the biriyani. i meant the experience which you compare to other mainstream biriyani restaurants. also point to note that the quantity is huge. they have done justice to the biriyani, cost and us xd. tasted marvellous! also i tried the nasi goreng, a typical asian style food, guess indonesian. the rice was well cooked, really loved the prawn crackers which came along with it, it was my favourite.  
 
for the desserts we had fried ice cream and brownie with ice cream. the brownie with ice cream was basic and good as usual, nothing much to talk about it. the fried ice cream was really different, the moment you cut the ball, liquid ice cream comes out. it was good.  
 
overall i had a wonderful time over here with my friends. the service was really good, the staffs were friendly. they had ipl streaming, so i had a good time watching ipl and eating. their menu also consists of a wide range of cuisines. from continental to italian to asian to indian, you have them all. do check it out. my rating would be 4.6[ taste, ambience, quantity, price]

in weekdays they are not allowing stags!?

a very decent restobarwith the best price in town. this has become our regular point because of their mrp prices on drinks. too good where you can have imported liqueurs in the budget of domestic varieties compared to other pubs. competing and there is a good cheering crowd of people on weekends.

try bang bang chicken and their sea food platter which is the best. on drinks side all are on mrp... watch out for reservation and get confirmed since there are restriction on stag entry.

this is the worst hospitality and understanding from a pub i've ever expected. thebartender calls me and tells me he's the manager and we're not allowed to enter and i've provided profits of thousands when this same place has no customers. i don't understand what service and clarity this is. if my recommendation is to be taken i'd recommend everyone not to wvwr go here. i've never said this to any other pub. this is by far the worst in 200 pubs that i've been to. please ensure something works in your favor before this becomes an other pub that is closed permanently.

learn to address your customers before running a business.

had the worstbarexperience here. service was very poor and very slow. they took 85 minutes to make a margarita pizza. plus, 45 mins after we had been seated, the manager tells us that there is a cover charge of rs.300 per head, if he had told us this when we entered, we would’ve never even sat down. plus, the manager was absolutely rude without reason, inspite of the fact that the mistake was his and he kept shuffling us around tables because we were a group of young men.
although the liquor is very nominally priced, the service is absolutely disgusting.
would never recommend this place to anyone. please do not visit thisbarunless their service improves and their staff are learnt to speak with manners.

staffs are very unprofessional, especially thebarmanager is very bad. their behaviour with female guests are worst. i don't suggest this place for anyone. biased service. i would have given - 5 rating if possible. plz look for some other goodbarrather than getting worst experience.

we just had the pleasure of having starters, so this review is based only on the variety of appetizer we feasted on...

first and foremost is that the food should be eye catching which requires good presentation and plating, in lattice plating was done perfectly but presentation for few items where little messy...

variety of appetizer various flavour where a few can be feasted, other can be eaten and couple of items require improvement..

-fusion of tandoori,mexi mama meat balls,mexican tacos, south spicy panner balls and guntur chicken are must try

-achari tikka, chicken dimsum, magic onion rings, murtabak mutton are good..

- few items which requires a tune up

   • in thai satay peanut sauce overwhelmed the chicken hence the flavour of chicken was missing

   •calmari was greasy

   •mutton kemma stuufed eggs was deep fried and mutton flavour was missing

its a great place come hangout and with some great offers at the bar! it has become my go to place in adyar for great food and fair priced alcohol. lattice has a very extensive food menu that has you feeling hungry from the word go. from traditional guntur chilli chicken to a malaysian starter called pie tee, to buffalo wings on a platter are just the variations in starters and you won't get enough of them. main course if you manage to get there, has mind blowing options from indian to asian to continental and to good ol south indian cuisine. 
the usp of this place is the its split onto two floors, the first floor is thebarif you are looking for a banging good time with loud music and shots all night and the second floor is a restaurant where you can have a quieter evening and enjoy a meal with conversation. 
one thing to note is that club rules apply to thebarhence shoes and trousers or jeans are a must. ( i learnt the hard way and had to go back but hats off to the team for conveying it nicely )
all in all i love the place and the ambiance and the food is something i would go back for everyday :d
