so this is the new resto bar which has opened up on the borders of adyar. this one is near adyar depot. went over here with my friends and had a good time. this is such a lavish place, the ambience is just to lit. nice and cozy ambience with good seating. the place is big and spacious, can accommodate like 50 plus people at a time. this gives a good bar feel with the lightings over here. so now let me brief about the food experience that we had over here.
to start with i had buffalo chicken wings, there were around 6 pieces of this, the chicken was soft and tender. point to note is that they were really tangy, it was good to be honest. next was the ebi tempura prawns, the prawns, the tiger prawns* were looking gorgeous! they were long and friend well to a golden colour. the prawns were probably one of the best i have ever tasted. they were crispy and tasted good. next was the bang bang chicken, these were like rolls. they were a bit crunchy and served along with a dip. these were a good combination. moving on we had chicken pie tee. were presented to us in an edible cup, it has chicken and some green gram and some other thing in it. this was one hell of a dish. i had it with the sweet dip and it was delicious, like very delicious. i really loved that dish.
next i had some chicken dim sims, there were around 6 pieces. they came along with 3 different dips. never have i ever seen 3 dips gives for something like this. the chicken dim sims had a soft nice covering on it, the minced chicken inside. it was really good. next was the grilled steak lamb. a really well presented steak with vegetables on the side and the steak in the middle along with extra steak sauce. the lamb stead had a lot of flavour in it. tastes good and also the lamb meat was soft and easy to chew.
now we had ordered some drinks over here. we tried litchi sunrise and cranberry min. these were basically mocktails. the juices were really refreshing. if had during the afternoon time right after we enter the restaurant, it will really give you a lot of energy. you will feel refreshed and have energy to eat.
now for the main course we first had murgh biriyani. this was basically chicken biriyani on an all new level. the biriyani was amazing with papad, curd and all. it felt different while having the biriyani. i meant the experience which you compare to other mainstream biriyani restaurants. also point to note that the quantity is huge. they have done justice to the biriyani, cost and us xd. tasted marvellous! also i tried the nasi goreng, a typical asian style food, guess indonesian. the rice was well cooked, really loved the prawn crackers which came along with it, it was my favourite.
for the desserts we had fried ice cream and brownie with ice cream. the brownie with ice cream was basic and good as usual, nothing much to talk about it. the fried ice cream was really different, the moment you cut the ball, liquid ice cream comes out. it was good.
overall i had a wonderful time over here with my friends. the service was really good, the staffs were friendly. they had ipl streaming, so i had a good time watching ipl and eating. their menu also consists of a wide range of cuisines. from continental to italian to asian to indian, you have them all. do check it out. my rating would be 4.6[ taste, ambience, quantity, price]
