latest recipe - le meridien

what was once an excellent restaurant offering a big spread at breakfast andgreatfood, is sadly reduced to a joint offering limited variety and ordinary food. i was totally disappointed with dinner during my last visit. chicken caesar salad was quite plain. favola salmon pizza was so bad, burnt and sticky, even tabasco could not fix it! chicken noodles was ok with the chicken conspicuous by its absence. the only thing i liked was chicken handi which i had ordered from the in-room dining menu during one of the nights of my stay at le meridien. their south indian food isgreatfor breakfast but that's about all that you can expect in these times.

such a lovely place to go for dinner with the liked or loved one . food is ofgreatquality with many items . staters and main dish is much more to eat as these food is worth for 1450

awesome service bygreatstaff members. i had their dinner buffet and also smoked salmon steak, boiled broccoli & carrots with tomato soup. the taste is yumm and the quantity is filling. i had their breakfast buffet during my stay and i must say that the spread is vast and tasty. only the french toasts were a little soft, may be because i like it super crispy. eggs, sausages, salads, variety of idlis, dosas, chutneys, other south indian and continental items etc etc.. like i said, the spread is vast. very friendly staff! keep it up, guys!

one of the best best buffet spread i have been to. every cuisine was there. we obviously couldn't try out everything. we had dumplings, white sauce pasta, chicken tikka, indian breads, biryani (boy! were we hungry😅). the desserts were simply amazing. would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesnt mind the high price but wants agreatvariety of choices.

beautiful hotel withgreatrestaurant . but the food is really pathetic here. had saturday dinner buffet the chef has no knowledge of how the buffet should be spread. there was a salad counter no basic salad only vegetables cut and kept. the food doesn't taste good the briyani was over cooked the roti was burnt the ice cream was local considering the standard of le meridian .same owner as le meridian in chennai .but this one is not maintained properly.

the ambience was awesome but the food was not thatgreatthey can improve the food taste . the hospitality was awesome the people working there was awesome.the variety of food is less not worth to the money we spend. the pizza was good the thin crust was awesome. totally the people working took me out of the world i can come back because of them.

number of star hotels are slowly increasing in coimbatore. this one is def a big name in the industry. i have not been a big fan of star hotel buffet till i dined in here. it was onegreatspread. couldn't count the number but was not able to complete all. they had a live chat counter was cool and the pizzas were great, desserts spread was decent but the disappointment were with some of the starters which were hard and  noodles as they were not thatgreatand had no flavor at all. loved the italian spread. overall a good experience. the best lavish buffet. they have a very huge chandelier which is the main attraction when u dine in. also love to visit them at mid night for a cup of coffee with cookies, sandwiches with french fries and if lucky also for a plate of good mutton biryani, should say wah re wah. what a feeling. the mutton was so soft and the biryani flavor was excellent. just love it.
