food was good here. pastry we ordered from longitude was too sweet. the service was quite pathetic. the server asked us to occupy another restaurant since he wanted to make arrangements for the evening festival but we insisted and he obliged. he was restless when we took a while to order our food. when asked to repeat our order he was too fast. we asked him again his response was the same. we could understand that he was upset that we are having our food there at an odd time. he named the drinks wrongly when he served it too. had a bad experience.

good buffet spread. homely mutton gravy was really like any home cooked dish. the dish to go with ghee dosa was amazing.

good desert spread.

overall a good experience.

beautiful hotel with great restaurant . but the food is really pathetic here. had saturday dinner buffet the chef has no knowledge of how the buffet should be spread. there was a salad counter no basic salad only vegetables cut and kept. the food doesn't taste good the briyani was over cooked the roti was burnt the ice cream was local considering the standard of le meridian .same owner as le meridian in chennai .but this one is not maintained properly.

located inside le meridian hotel . the ambiance is awesome. very large primarily buffet restaurant. we had buffet breakfast as well as buffet lunch.

the breakfast spread is excellent many types of breads and desserts with south indian dishes along with freshly cut fruits to choose from.

however was disappointed with the lunch menu. very limited options for vegetarians and no continental items in the spread. even the dessert selection is very similar.

i visited once for lunch and has lot of varities to choose...calm place and good ambience..mainly liked dessert varities..completely satisfied with the buffet menu..

biggest buffet spread in coimbatore and the menu keeps changing very often unlike most star hotels in the tinsel town of coimbatore . you will love this place for the continental dishes in the buffet menu and the ambiance is quite lovely .they have a huge salad bar with an interesting cheese platter  . deserts are mind blowing especially the different gateaux  and the cheese cakes .
 simply put the best place you can go for a buffet in coimbatore and its really worth the money you spend here .

decent place, very good ambience. decent food, but why so they say it's 24 hours? landed up there late evening and there it's no service. and if this is the meridian we need this as a minimum

have been here for dinner for a few times. the dinner buffet they provide has different dishes on each day and so it is really important for you to know the recipes so that you don't get disappointed by having foods which you don't like. being a star hotel, this restaurant charges a little less than ₹1000 for dinner buffet. you get a variety in main course and starters. but the dessert section is like every other restaurant's buffet.

we came here for breakfast.
this is a large place with and has an impressive lay out of breakfast variety.

we had milk and cereals which were good.

then we tried the south indian delicacies-
vada and idle combo with sambar - this was good
the chef suggested us to try podi masala dosa - podi is a chutney powder which is generally take. with all meals in tamil nadu.
the podi masala dosa was very crisp and the crust was covered with podi powder. this tasted awesome.

we finished the breakfast with a cup of americano coffee.

full marks for the ambiance and the taste.

food wasn't so great. there were no seafood at all. there wasn't any good food. expected much from a hotel of such stature.. service was poor.

been here quite a few times and this review can be taken as a combined review of all my experience. initially, when i visited this place for the first time, one could find the menu for the food being served here but during my last visit, it wasn't available.

for a hotel of this stature, the service is quite excellent and it receives full marks for it. what lacks here is that one finds it difficult to distinguish between whether a particular food item is an appetizer or main course. the food is quite excellent though the mutton here ain't that tender.

one should surely try out the salad bar and the dessert section which serves you amazing variety of food making one crave for more and more.

with regards to ambiance, the restaurant, without doubt is quite grand and respects their own brand and identity.

it's a beautiful restaurant with buffet style dining. the food can be really hit or miss, the staffs were very unknowledgeable they had a picture of sushi however when i asked for it they said "sorry we don't have this chinese dish". they really need to improve on the food the only thing i was able to enjoy were the desserts.

the ambience was awesome but the food was not that great they can improve the food taste . the hospitality was awesome the people working there was awesome.the variety of food is less not worth to the money we spend. the pizza was good the thin crust was awesome. totally the people working took me out of the world i can come back because of them.

extremely poor experience when we dropped in for a quick drink ad bite. the hotel though huge and well staffed was all over the place.

a whole kitchen could not deliver a simple primevera pizza!!

first it arrived uncooked half baked and with no crust after couple of rejections and loss of patience we finally ate what we got, paid the bill and left.

never visiting again!!

the range of food available at this buffet style restaurant in the 5 star hotel, is really great, and all of it was piping hot and fresh tasting, unlike other buffets i have been to. it's clearly very popular as when i ate there for lunch at the weekend, many tables were full and lots of people were coming and going, making for a good atmosphere. my only complaint is that as much as i was enjoying the live music being played, it was a little too loud and meant that i had to lean across the table to be able to chat, or should i say, shout. i have found this in many restaurants in india though; the music rarely seems to be at an ambient level, but perhaps i just have sensitive ears! i would also say that while the price was very reasonable from a western/european point of view, i think if i was an indian person i would find it a little costly, although if you're hungry you can certainly get your moneys worth out of it!!!
