one of the major premium convention centres of the queen of arabian sea, le’meridian defines luxury and great service in kochi. the spacious rooms and the ambient services plus the timely eloquent foodfests keeps this hotel high on notices always. it has a good hospitality team, and has all the amenities of a well maintained star hotel.
a place where every penny you pay has its premium worth.

after seeing this restaurant on kochi's must visit lost of restaurants i had to given this a try. went here to celebrate at friend's birthday dinner. they had a lavish buffet which we couldn't try and we weren't that hungry and decided to go for the alakat menu.

we have called for kebabs(i don't remember which one), chicken tikka and naan. to be honest i haven't had a better tasting chicken tikka in all of kerala. this place is worthy being in the must try restaurants in cochin. plus the service is also excellent, specially the manager and the waiter who was serving us.

hello everyone! i am very pleased to share my beautiful experience at le meridien kochi where i stayed on 5-6th jan, 2019 accompanied my husband (mr.neeraj) for his harley davidson event.
le meriedien hotel is a 5 star hotel which is gorgeous and luxurious property and it is around 45 mins from the kochi airport. it lies on the backwaters. so this place is not like your typical hotel. it has a vintage touch, it is huge and has the most gorgeous selection of bright colours. le meridien kochi majestically enthrones herself at the heart of the arabian queen, kochi. the hotel is 6 kilometers from the city center and is equally close to historical fort kochi attractions.
beginning from the check-in all the way through our stay and finally check-out we were treated like a valued guest, with utmost courtesy, eagerness to help, and going out of the way to delight the customer. front desk staff, pool attendant, fitness center trainer, housekeeping staff, restaurant manager; all created a positive impression.

the food was indeed delicious whether it was the room service or the dinner and breakfast that we had from the restaurant have got so many varieties.

special thanks to mrs. donna (marcom manager), miss. anju (assistant manager) who has taken care of each of our needs and chef (mr. pavan) who cooked all the mouth watering delicacies.

5-star prices for a very average a la carte experience. sandwiches and wraps totally avoidable. soup was sent back twice. first item took 20 minutes.

i am writing this review with great regret for visiting latest recipe for our wedding anniversary celebration. went for a buffet lunch with my family and 2.5 year old kid. initially mentioning about the varieties provided was fewer when comparing to other hotels, but the few they served was good. secondly the service provided by the team was quite delaying in each instances. my kid literally had to wait 15 mins for a glass of water. thirdly and the most significant flaw was that place was infested with house flies, to that extend that i had to ask the team to replace the food on my son's plate. i could see the same was happening to the nearby tables. lastly none of the restaurant managers were available on the floor to get my bill, in this case i had to personally go to the counter for requesting my bill. as the person at the counter enquired about the food and i mentioned all the flaws as above he even approached the floor manager (not sure about his name) who came near the counter and just left the counter un bothered after hearing the complaints. i personally regret choosing le meridien over few other star hotels in my locality.

we went for weekend buffet lunch, it was good. but nothing extra ordinary. needs to add some more nonveg dishes. we had access to pool area and all. great location

excellent buffet spread, helpful and courteous service staff, above all value for money. visited on a weekend, ala carte menu available. a great place to dine with family and friends.

best buffet meals in town, love each and every dish that they put up. sunday would be the best day to go with family for a special brunch. love the ambience and the warmth exuded by the staff.

we had breakfast here during my stay at the hotel. the spread was good and prompt service when requested !

we were headed back to kochi with stomachs growling from a long drive and i was busy researching for lunch options. i would call it serendipity that i chanced upon le méridien.

the sunday buffet spread was exquisite. there was a wide variety of options from salads, continental, indian and asian cuisine. i happened to be greeted by a cheerful chef at the pasta live counter who made a ravishing tomato base pasta, with just the right amount of condiments and herbs as i had requested.

the salads had a healthy mix of veggies, meat and sauces. a special mention to the fattoush, tahini sauce and a variety of hummus that did absolute justice to lebanese cuisine.

the dessert section was equally well selected with the baked yogurt and a live counter for rolled ice creams strumming a chord with my taste buds.

in a nutshell, i would recommend this buffet lunch to anyone who wishes to spend a remembrable sunday afternoon.

excellent customer service , authentic food , clean rooms ,state of the art facilities , good view from the room, specialised in all cuisine , i will strongly suggest people to stay in le meridian kochi .
