landry's seafood house

husband and i went for my birthday and had an amazingmealand awesome waitor. very surprised by how good everything was. highly recommend!

delicious food that i expect from a high-end place like landry's. service was good, pace ofmealwas appropriate for a nicemeal(no rushing, everything came out correctly, drinks remained full). good option for a fanciermealor special night.

the service was okay. the best thing about themealwas the tea. i was all rapidly downhill from there. the food bland beyond description and my snapper tasted as if it had sat outbfor some time before it was pounded to oblivion and cooked to the consistency of shoe leather. the salad was wilted. even the horseradish was bland. i don't even know how that could happen.

celebrating my sons birthday. he loves oysters and is fond of landrys oyster selection. too bad they were all out. i had the shrimp luncheeon with greens and was very pleased with the plating and flavor. my sonsmealwas bland. so it was definitly not the memorable lunch he was expecting this time around. service was good. we will be back soon

nice place, could be better.... we ate here three times during our stay in el paso. the first two times everything was fantastic, the view was superb, staff was friendly, the food was delicious. the third time was not so good. my martini glass smelled like a dirty dish towel. i sent it back because it was such an awful smell. we had the alaskan king crab legs, and one of them smelled a bit like ammonia, indicating that it wasn't very fresh. we had a full dozen oysters, and they were delicious. at the end of ourmeali ordered tea, and the mug had something pink on the inside. as i poured the hot water in, the pink stuff dissolved into my beverage. i pushed my tea aside and didn't drink it, but the sight of that really left me feeling kind of blah, and when you pay almost $200 for a meal, you definitely expect better.

avg food at best. celebrated my mother's birthday today at landry's. the food was okay at best. the special of the day was duck breast in a raspberry wine sauce with sweet potatoes. when the food arrived the presentation looked really good. although there was very little meat on the duck. it had huge chunks of fat. i realize that duck is a fatty meat but give the man his money worth ($26.99)! it was also over cooked and very dry which took away from the dish. the sauce was really good. the sweet potatoes were cold. i couldn't believe it. for the money next time landry's won't be my first choice. i had better meals at landry's in the past. the food has never been outstanding but it was the worstmeali ever had.
