landry's seafood house

food ok, beer flat. some said they had betterfoodat the taco truck in juarez. the creme brûlée was good though.

this is a place that i looked years ago and never enter. last week finally decided to do it and i got a nice surprise. good price, good service, good prices. so if you are in the mood of seefooddon't hesitate to go there.

stop in passing thru el paso, staff warm friendly. atmosphere lovely, good music...foodservice fast and well plated. crawfish bread made well not soggy or bland. dirty rice was ok needs a little work. but i would order it again

i was starkly disappointed that this isn't quite the romantic setting nor fine dining experience that i was anticipating. the parking is generous and well shaded.

upon entering the establishment, it is dimly lit and the only light at the entrance comes from a few recessed light and the sunlight allowed in through the glass doors and windows. we arrived around early dinner time 3:30-4:00 pm, and the hostess was also in the role of the front of the house. she kindly sat at a booth and offered us something to drink. to my surprise even the water costs, $4.00 to be precise. and no i don't mean perrier or fiji. thefoodwas mediocre at best, and our server/ hostess did her best.
the dessert shooters are very sweet and delicious, hitting the spot after a long and unrewarding meal. i don't anticipate coming back, only because i believe red lobster and pelican's have the seafood bar/ grill category down pat (in this area). i perceived landry's to be somewhere right above joe's crab shack, in terms of ambiance, and right below red lobster in quality and showmanship.

deliciousfoodthat i expect from a high-end place like landry's. service was good, pace of meal was appropriate for a nice meal (no rushing, everything came out correctly, drinks remained full). good option for a fancier meal or special night.

rude service!!!!!. rude service from waitress and managers.... slow service!!!! dirty dirty dirty!! restaurant ... they don't seem to care much about the cleaning of the place and they act like they are doing ppl a favor by serving thefoodor drinks... extremely hostile atmosphere .... rude and unprofessional...
never go back for sure ....!

just decent grub, but waaay overpriced!. some decent (not outstanding) dishes with high prices that don't match up to the quality of thefoodbeing served. if you're a rapper that drives a pink glitter lamborghini, this is probably the place for you to take ur shady lady friends and impress em...

decor was great service was good but thefoodwas just ok. i got the mahi mahi madrid and it tasted gross. i like seafood and i could barely stomach it.

the service was okay. the best thing about the meal was the tea. i was all rapidly downhill from there. thefoodbland beyond description and my snapper tasted as if it had sat outbfor some time before it was pounded to oblivion and cooked to the consistency of shoe leather. the salad was wilted. even the horseradish was bland. i don't even know how that could happen.

nice place, could be better.... we ate here three times during our stay in el paso. the first two times everything was fantastic, the view was superb, staff was friendly, thefoodwas delicious. the third time was not so good. my martini glass smelled like a dirty dish towel. i sent it back because it was such an awful smell. we had the alaskan king crab legs, and one of them smelled a bit like ammonia, indicating that it wasn't very fresh. we had a full dozen oysters, and they were delicious. at the end of our meal i ordered tea, and the mug had something pink on the inside. as i poured the hot water in, the pink stuff dissolved into my beverage. i pushed my tea aside and didn't drink it, but the sight of that really left me feeling kind of blah, and when you pay almost $200 for a meal, you definitely expect better.

great seafood!. my family and i thoroughly enjoy landry's... kids like it way better than rock lobster even though no one can beat the rock's crab...foodis simple yet consistently good along with the service... place is always clean.... been there more times than i can count (even a landry's card holder) and only had to complain once to the manager... he made up for it and compt me a meal... can't understand why more people don't like it?!?...

you get what you pay for. i spoke with a colleague who insisted that landry's had really good oysters for the price and he was right, they did, but that was the only good thing they had. the oysters were good for the price but the accoutrements that came with them flat out sucked. i also tried the crab feast which included some alaskan king crab legs, a crab cake, some pasta with crab and baked crabmeat. all of the items on the plate were utterly disappointing, nothing exciting in the flavor or in the execution of them. i was expecting so much morefoodwise but i should have seen this coming since it is a large chain operated establishment. i will say that service was relatively good.

i keep thinking it'll be good . . . but it's not. i've been here three times, and the last two times i told myself i wouldn't come back. i love seafood, and el paso doesn't offer much, so after about a year has passed i'm desperate and convince myself that it wasn't that bad. and then i go, and yes, it is that bad. the fish is dry, the presentation is uninspired (the popcorn shrimp looks like it was just dumped out of a frying basket onto the plate), and the last time i went the waiter was really annoying (forever trying to get us to order things we had no interest in, talking way too much, and just generally came across like he was going to try and come home with us at the end of the meal.) it looks nice on the outside and inside, but thefoodis not at all worth it.
