lahore darbar restaurant

i am amazed to see that thisrestauranthave got 4.9 rating on zomato. after i saw the review i travelled all the way from abu dhabi to umm al quwain to try this restaurant. after i have tried their food its nothing more than a normal industrial arearestaurantin abu dhabi or dubai. i ordered the karahi and the bbq it took ages to arrive on our table. now coming to the taste part it was totally disappointing and was not that good at all. i think the highest rating they have got is only because of the location and their outside sittinf area. rest nothing nice about the food here.

they have good taste. i was not expecting such good taste in this small town. if u know rawalpindi then must know shehanshah tikka actually thisrestaurantwas started by that group.

i had been there with my family in june 2016. went to thisrestaurantafter checking out it's good reviews. food and service was good, although ambience not good enough for families.

chicken and mutton chapli kabab was too good. mutton achari was also good taste. thisrestaurantgive typical dhaba type look with outside open area sitting but for that we will revist during winter months. found good option to take friends for chit chat hangout wala dinner. it took 35mins for food to serve but otherwise good experience.

best pakistanirestaurantin uaq . we always travel all along from sharjah to here just to have their bbq platter and chapli kabab . this is their signature dish . chappali kabab especially the beef ones are so yummilicious . and serving time is good staff is also cooperative. but the place to sit inside is not much for big families. they have arranged that sitting arrangements outside just like having food in darbars.

fabulous food and the outdoor seating (dhaba type) on a nice cool night made wonders of the food. a basicrestaurantbut super excellent food and crazy tasty stuff. wouldn't mind driving all the way from dubai just for a dhaba experience.

it is very rare to see arestaurantwith 4.9 rating, and especially in a place like uaq where it is hard to find even a single nice restaurant.

so we ordered according to reviews on zomato.. the most recommended was achari chicken, green malai boti, chapli kabab..
all of them were delicious!!! and on point!!
although we weren't served any chutney or yoghurt with malai boti (only upon requesting)

i highly all these items..

the outdoor seating is great for people who like to fold their legs and sit (chaatpai) haha.. very dhaaba style!
but the indoor seating area wasn't convenient , small and not so clean..

the waiting time for bbq is pretty long too.. 30 mins minimum

went here for dinner, the place had just a few people when we reached. it started getting full later. therestauranthas a pretty good ambience, there's outdoor seating as well.
we went for beef chapli kabab, chicken green boti and roti with dal. chapli kabab was the best among it.
quantity and taste both are great, no complains. but make sure you are willing to wait for 30-40 mins for your food to arrive. cz the service is damn slow. my starter got cold waiting for a roti . and the server kept disappearing every now n then.

i came across thisrestauranton zomato.. and i was not disappointed at all. enjoyed the meal. chapli kabab was absolutely rocking. but they have to improve when it comes to service.. just one menu.. you gotta be kidding... over all a good experience.. i will surely visit again... given the understanding it is in umm al quwain i place was nice.. had a good meal

to start with the menu , the menu was had a large variety of dishes to offer . the ambience was great and the waiter was very polite and helpful ..the waiter gave us some of his valuable suggestions and suggested us to which dish was according to our taste and what it contained of .... the food cost was very economical and we were 7 people who went there for dinner and our bill came up to 125 dirhams... so the average cost per person was 17 dirham's including drinks...coming to the food : the quantity and quality of the food was just excellent ...we ordered a chilli chicken as a starter and some naans and chicken tandoori and chicken kadhai for the main course....kadhai chicken is strongly recommended for some good taste lovers .... overall i would give thisrestauranta 4.8 on 5 ...parking is easily available ...we enjoyed it very much and strongly recommend it to people who go to umm al quwain or who live there , and who love some amazing pakistani cuisine...... loved it and looking forward for visiting it once more ....

thisrestaurantis more or less like a roadside dhaba. the only problem is, it's surrounded by mc donald's, splash, carrefour n some other big brands and you don't feel "out of the city" types. however, they have done well to cover it up n nothing is attached to the immediate boundary of the restaurant.

indoor and outdoor seating is available. outdoor seating is not amazingly good but if you go with a group of friends, you'll definitely njoy. for couples, it's a no no!!

food is cheap and the menu card is as much shabby as its shown on zomato., if you're a hardcore cleanliness freak, you may go elsewhere.

this place offers very good kebabs and lovely pakistani rotis.

if you're following navigation, enter nissan, um al quwain. once you pass by nissan, you'll see kfc. after 3-5 mins you'll see splash and mc donald's. then you'll see lahore darbar on your right.
