pakistani food feast!!! affordable yet tasty!!! their special mutton karahi is delicious 🤤👌,orderedmixed grill platter, special mutton karahi, chapli kabab, roghni naan all for 85aed! 😱 so much it can easily feed 4 people! this place is definitely worth trying!!

it was my second visit but unfortunately their outdoor sitting have been reduced to two 😐 charpais only and even they dont look that clean and in use , any how they have good majlis setting on the first floor, but its without any divider and all families can use same hall at a time .
weorderedmutton karahi, saag, chicken biryani, mix grill, fish fry and chai in the end. biryani was average but rest was tasty and chai was too good . hope they will increase outdoor sitting properly.

i am amazed to see that this restaurant have got 4.9 rating on zomato. after i saw the review i travelled all the way from abu dhabi to umm al quwain to try this restaurant. after i have tried their food its nothing more than a normal industrial area restaurant in abu dhabi or dubai. iorderedthe karahi and the bbq it took ages to arrive on our table. now coming to the taste part it was totally disappointing and was not that good at all. i think the highest rating they have got is only because of the location and their outside sittinf area. rest nothing nice about the food here.

the worst desi food ever.orderedone platter, one handi and one karhai with roghni naan.
1 - roghni naan was a complete disaster.
2- worst handi ever
3 - weirdest karhai ever.. had thetaste of old oil

a weekend in umm al quain 4 foodies and hungry searching for a good restaurant. mostly only cafeterias, we made up our mind for pizza hut or kfc but right next to kfc and pizzas it was lahore darbar looked up zomato and it was a 4.9. wasn't disappointed at all, the reviews where as mentioned food took a bit of time to come, outdoor seating was great along with the weather. weorderedthe chapli kebbas, achari chicken, dhall and saag with paneer along with rotis. it wasn't spicy as mentioned in other reviews. simply delicious and satisfied the tastebuds of 4 desis.

i love to eat and cook food and try different cuisines. after reading the reviews, i wanted to give it a try and yesterday finally i got a chance to visit this place with some of my friends anf after reaching there the sitting location outside reminded us of the truck station restaurants back in our country.

weorderedchicken achari, fish chappli kabab's and saag paneer. we enjoyed everything but the most out of it was saag paneer. next time i will go for their karahi's and cahrgha's.

the special thing about them is that they prepare all the food freshly and nothing they keep pre-cooked.

i highly recommended it to my friends and would say that it was worth visiting them.

it is very rare to see a restaurant with 4.9 rating, and especially in a place like uaq where it is hard to find even a single nice restaurant.

so weorderedaccording to reviews on zomato.. the most recommended was achari chicken, green malai boti, chapli kabab..
all of them were delicious!!! and on point!!
although we weren't served any chutney or yoghurt with malai boti (only upon requesting)

i highly all these items..

the outdoor seating is great for people who like to fold their legs and sit (chaatpai) haha.. very dhaaba style!
but the indoor seating area wasn't convenient , small and not so clean..

the waiting time for bbq is pretty long too.. 30 mins minimum

big fat dinner in lahore darbar...

let me start with bad stuff...worst waiting time checked in at 8.05pm. there were just 2 customers in the table. weorderedstuffs and waited and waited and waited and waited.. it was 8.45pm when our roti, beef chappli kabab and green chicken boti arrived... as time passed few more customers came in and i heard even those complaining the same on later hours..
even it took me to walk to the main casher and ask him if he could get more roti for us..

however, food was great..beef chapli was at its best.. green chicken boti was also great.. roti was soft and good... dal was ok.. raita was not so good..

i would recommend you all to go there for beef chapli kabab. but forget your watch at home...

okay...now since not many options are available in uaq we thought why not try lahore darbar. its like karachi darbar where you order pakistani food. chinese is available but well iorderedchilli chicken dry which was more like chicken lahori with very little gravy so no where near chinese. weorderedtandoori chicken which was very nice and also the peshawari chicken gravy was delicious. the nan was also very nice. helpful waiter and the place was okay to sit. we went early by 7,30 so they had just opened with no other guests but when we left there were many labour class men sitting out and eating so its advisable to go if your family.

to start with the menu , the menu was had a large variety of dishes to offer . the ambience was great and the waiter was very polite and helpful ..the waiter gave us some of his valuable suggestions and suggested us to which dish was according to our taste and what it contained of .... the food cost was very economical and we were 7 people who went there for dinner and our bill came up to 125 dirhams... so the average cost per person was 17 dirham's including drinks...coming to the food : the quantity and quality of the food was just excellent ...weordereda chilli chicken as a starter and some naans and chicken tandoori and chicken kadhai for the main course....kadhai chicken is strongly recommended for some good taste lovers .... overall i would give this restaurant a 4.8 on 5 ...parking is easily available ...we enjoyed it very much and strongly recommend it to people who go to umm al quwain or who live there , and who love some amazing pakistani cuisine...... loved it and looking forward for visiting it once more ....
