this is our favorite mexican food place. we have been going here for 12 years and it never disappoints. service is fabulous (ask for victor) and food is amazing!

wow! what happened to this place? i was seated this evening after a several minute wait with several tables open throughout the restaurant. chips and salsa finally arrive after 5 minutes, but no server or drink order taker. after several minutes later and no service, i left the chips and salsa on the table by themselves and walked out the door. i don't think i'll be back.

love it!. i loooove la margarita! the servers are always friendly and attentive and the food is delicious!
the queso is very, very good. i almost always order the fajita monterrey (chicken or beef covered in cheeses and tomatoes with onion i believe...). so good! the margaritas are great too.

this place is great! my brother and sister-in-law were in town visiting and i wanted to try a new restaurant. i googled "good mexican food irving" or something like that and la margarita was one of the results. there were many glowing reviews so we decided to try it. when i saw it's location in the strip mall next to aldi, i was at first skeptical. this place truly is a hidden treasure! the decor is very nice and the food is even better! i had the pollo maria, chicken breast that was pan seared in sauza tequila. it came served on a big white platter/bowl on top of pesto mash with a mushroom sauce and some zucchini slices on top. this was truly a plated gourmet dish! my brother had a beef chimichangas that he said was the best ever and my sister in law loved hers too! oh yeah, the drinks were great too!

my wife and i had a wonderful dinner here tonight. she had the chuy platter and i had the spinach enchiladas. the flavors were excellent and the atmosphere is different from most places. my wife loved their guacamole. the service was a little slow tonight, but that is the only bad thing i could say about them.

not too much atmosphere in the restaurant section, but the food is great, along with the mango margarita. family owned

i have been a very loyal customer for over 13 years and my wife and i love this place. my only complaint is that often, the hot sauce is too hot. they need to taste test it beforehand instead of just following their recipe as sometimes jalepenos are hotter than other times.

this is my favorite mexican food place in the dfw area. the food is excellent each and everytime i go there. they have a great staff, many whom have worked there for years. they have your typical tex-mex, but they also have more gourmet type dishes as well. i highly recommend this restaurant and am certain you will like it also.

don't judge a book by it's cover. the outside was nothing special - strip mall between new construction and a wing stop. inside was very well done creating a great atmosphere. the food was fantastic and the presentation was excellent. we definitely will be back.

fantastic! will definitely return when i come back to irving. weird location, but great service and authentic modern mexican. give it a try! tacos menu was my favorite part. and margs aren't crappy or too sweet.

a fave. la margarita is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. the first time i went, i was totally surprised to find such culinary treasures... definitely a gem, despite the crummy dollar store next door.
the new addison location, masaryk, offers a trendier setting and outdoor seating, along with a few menu additions.

one of the best places in the dfw metroplex. great food, man i love those beef and chirizo tacos. the staff are attentive, friendly and want your business. oh the ritas!
