absolutely amazing gelato!. ...and it is gelato, not ice cream. it was so smooth and light, totally delicious. it's a nice quiet location, easy to park but there aren't many seats outside if you want to stop and sit/relax. however, my partner got the lemon and i got stracciatella and hazelnut. we enjoyed every flavour. i just wish i lived in brisbane so that i could go here all the time.

about the i cream i found:
perfect texture, right balance, smooth although firm, delicate aroma and a lovely finish to attest of a well prepared icecream. flavour is homogeneous and consistand on each spoon. choch sauce is elegant, full of flavour but not crazy sweet, as normally found in other humble competitors.

i normally do not eat icecream often because of the horrendous frozen concoctions you find everywhere. now, i believe i can start to incorporate icecream into my diet (uppps!) thanks to this lovely shop. thank you for creating an icecream oasis in brisbane, thank you indeed.

i had to sit down when i tried their salted caramel. floored. amazingly smooth, incredible flavour. they need more seats for people to swoon.

with the days getting longer and the nights getting warmer, there is nothing more satisfying than a delectable gelato or sorbet that’ll brighten the day and refreshen the taste buds. the gelato is creamy, smooth and full of flavour. my favourite gelato would be the ‘bacio australiano’ which is the white chocolate mixed with macadamia chips as well as the ‘caramello salato’ which is salted caramel perfection. however, the fresh sorbet gets me every time and would prefer it over the creamy gelato. the flavours change reguarly but lemon lime & bitters, lemon, kiwi and grapefruit would make the top of my favourites list. there is nothing more refreshing than a cold sorbet at the end of the night, and the best part is that there is 0% fat! i have become quite enamoured with this little store and can be found there most nights enjoying a sorbet. i definitely recommend giving this place a try but be warned, you may get addicted!!! in love and food, vivi filed under: dessert , italian tagged:

real italian gelato. just perfect. the best in brisbane.

i did think the gelato started tasting a tad too sweet about half way through. that might be a lesson to not order an extravagant amount next time. otherwise, the flavours were good, service was speedy and friendly and the texture was authentic enough to bring us memories of our indulgent gelato-filled italian holiday.

this place is a must!!!! brought me back to rome with every delectable lick!

yum! perfect texture and flavour. this is actual gelato, wow. italian dudes making proper italian iced treats perfectly. it's creamy, perfectly smooth and absolutely delicious. so far favourites are the pistachio, salted caramel, bacio (!), any other hazelnut related ones and the mandorlina.

get some soon, so much better than the other stuff around

the real thing.. the best gelato around, hands down. made fresh, and really flavourful, this place is worth hunting down.
pistachio, bacio, caffe, and mandorlino are star flavours, i think.

tried this gelateria today and it was delicious! lots of flavours to choose from (if u are unsure u can ask for a taste test). i had the strawberry sorbet but also tried the pastacchio and chocolate. will definitely be back.
