small, familyrestaurantatmosphere. our server, carlos, was wonderful and attentive. i had the mar y tierra (surf and turf). the skirt steak was great and the seafood stew was phenomenal! the rest of the family all loved their dishes. a columbianrestaurantfor latin flavor that is not mexican fare. one visit, and it's a family favorite! to follow up, we ordered deserts to go because we were so stuffed. i've now become a bigger fan thanks to the tres leche cake and cheese flan.

best deal in town. they have lunch special for $7.99 tues-fri and they are awesome, including soup and salad. their salads are fresh and amazing specially the grilled chicken salad, full of real chicken, and their house dressing good. they also have great specials on the weekends different dishes, like the sancochos and ropa vieja, yummy, shredded beef, the best thing is that mostrestaurantonly offer you 1 or 2 sides with each dish, and here you get 3 or more sides so it is totally worth it, and do not forget the tres leches oh yeah baby.

great experience from start to finish!. we chose thisrestaurantbased on urbanspoon's info about price, location and being kid-friendly. we were a party of 7 (including 3 children ages 3-11) and are always on the search for great places we can all enjoy, extending beyond the usual kid's fare that you see on every menu. great experience starting right from the reservation phone call, to the cafe con leche at the end! carlos was friendly, entertaining and informative. noone had a bad dish, and we had a "best chicken i've ever had", "love this salad" and a "best fish ever" from the kids. they enjoyed trying multiple new dishes (plantains, fried pork skin and tongue!) all in a family-friendly atmosphere where i wasn't afraid they were going to disturb others, and did i mention at a very reasonable price. this was an unexpected highlight of our trip to the area and i hope we have a chance to visit again in the future! thanks carlos :) :) :) :)

this place has been around for over 9 years and i can't believe we didn't hear about it before. urban spoon lead us to real gold nugget. we were greeted by carlos like old friends. lunch started with a complementary empanada and a lunch turned into a dining event! my wife had a variety of sides to try and get a sampling of what therestaurantoffered. each was excellent. i had tongue which was succulent and delicious. finished with flan and café con leche...all i can say is wow, we'll be back and spreading the word!

deee-licious!. dined here for the first time last night, and we'll be going back again soon! a pile of their appetizer empanadas would be a most excellent lunch. everything was grilled beautifully or fried to perfection, and it takes a special kind of talent to fry things and not have them come out all greasy - especially when one of the things they're frying is bacon with the skin still on it!
was surprised that the grilled meats on the bandeja la estancia (the dinner sampler) were not more heavily seasoned, but that only meant i could use the amazing green salsa more liberally - and folks who tend to be "spicy-phobes" would also very much enjoy the meal. the skirt steak in the churrasco la estancia was tender and seasoned well.
as the sides go, the salads were nicely shredded (so you don't look like a farm animal in front of your date) and had a bit of cilantro in it, which made it taste special and refreshing. the red beans had great flavor and of course, went well with the rice. the french fries and corn cakes were super crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, perfect! sweet plantains were also yummy, but i've yet to meet any of those i didn't like. :)
we also shared a "cheese flan" which was a deliciously dense slice of custard covered in honey glaze, topped with whip cream, and a little cherry sauce drizzle on the plate.
very excited to have bought a house right around the corner from this gem of a restaurant! carlos was an attentive and friendly host. the casual, un-forced "ma 'n pa" atmosphere is a welcome change of pace from cookie-cutter chainrestaurantdecor.

friendly atmosphere and good food. carols flagged me and a friend as we were walking away from hisrestaurantto get a sub at a local supermarket. he assured us the food at therestaurantwas better than anything the supermarket would have, and he invited us in. i'm glad we took his invitation. the food was very good and you can't beat the price. carlos and his wife were happy to have us (and indeed all his lunchtime guests). i'd recommend this to anyone, and will of course be returning.

great lunch. brought a friend with me for our first visit to this restaurant.
we both had baddeja paisa on the owner's recommendation as one of the most authentically columbia items on the menu. we were very impressed.
also enjoyed the complimentary empanadas, in honor of our first visit.
on the owner's recommendation we finished up with the flan and tres leches. we each sampled both of them. they were both delicious.

get the bistec cabella it is amazing, and you can't get better coffee anywhere in town. i highly recommend thisrestaurantto anyone!

excelente. had lunch for two at la estancia today and it was a fabulous experience from beginning to end. warm and welcoming greeting, attentive service throughout, suggestions for things to try (i will definitely return for more arepas!), and to top it all off, the food was riquisima! i also left therestaurantcarrying an entire quart of their green salsa that i had purchased because i just couldn't get enough of it. sooooo worth the visit! i highly recommend la estancia de luisa and am thrilled to have such wonderful colombian food right here in my palm bay neighborhood.

the best colombianrestauranti have ever been to! la estancia de luisa has fresh, tasty food that is served with a smile by a warm, welcoming, and friendly staff. carlos and vicky made our dining experience an exceptional one. i highly recommend this place and i will without a doubt be back.

this is the fourth time i've been to this restaurant. it has consistently great food. the services decent to good like a lot of small restaurants. the menu has a great selection of dishes, a lot of appetizers, trying them out is always fun.

another great meal. ate here a second time, as we had a great time the first meal we had here.
again, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere warm and friendly. this is now my favoriterestaurantfor latin food. my wife had the skirt steak, fried green plaintains and sweet corn patties with cheese. all of the items were perfectly cooked and delicious.

la estancia was delicious! the food was amazing and the service was wonderful. i had the whole fried fish on my most recent trip. it was cooked to perfection. i would highly recommend thisrestaurantto anyone who loves latin cuisine.
