fantastic!! visited for the first time a few months ago but it is quickly becoming a favorite.carlos& vickie are superb hosts and a joy to visit with. the food is excellent!

relaxing. my husband and i were out for an early evening motorcycle ride and stopped at la estancia de luisa's! we so enjoyed the food and fellowship withcarlosthat we felt at home and stayed for over and hour! we were treated like royalty!

excellent food/service like family. my wife and i arrived at the restraunt at 8 pm, they close at 8. we started to walk away thinking we would try again another day,carloscame out of the restraunt and greeted us asked to please come in and eat, he would be happy to cook for us. we were treated like family on our first time there, they went the extra mile for us the service the food all of it was superb. the food just by itself was fantastic i had the churasco and it was excellent. if you are looking for a great place to eat with friendly people i would really suggext eating here. my wife and i will definately be inviting my friends and family to join us their.

welcoming!. here at la estancia de luisa,carlosmade me feel very welcomed, and treated me as family. as a black man with a hispanic wife, he welcomed my family and treated us very well. my message to all my brothers; come and receive the wealth of la estancia de luisa. you won't regret it.

great experience from start to finish!. we chose this restaurant based on urbanspoon's info about price, location and being kid-friendly. we were a party of 7 (including 3 children ages 3-11) and are always on the search for great places we can all enjoy, extending beyond the usual kid's fare that you see on every menu. great experience starting right from the reservation phone call, to the cafe con leche at the end!carloswas friendly, entertaining and informative. noone had a bad dish, and we had a "best chicken i've ever had", "love this salad" and a "best fish ever" from the kids. they enjoyed trying multiple new dishes (plantains, fried pork skin and tongue!) all in a family-friendly atmosphere where i wasn't afraid they were going to disturb others, and did i mention at a very reasonable price. this was an unexpected highlight of our trip to the area and i hope we have a chance to visit again in the future! thankscarlos:) :) :) :)

was our first time.carloswas very hospitable, gave use free empanadas that are delicious. we all loved our dinners.

delicious and friendly!. the food is always delicious! the service is great and the people are friendly!carloswas amusing and kind.

this place has been around for over 9 years and i can't believe we didn't hear about it before. urban spoon lead us to real gold nugget. we were greeted bycarloslike old friends. lunch started with a complementary empanada and a lunch turned into a dining event! my wife had a variety of sides to try and get a sampling of what the restaurant offered. each was excellent. i had tongue which was succulent and delicious. finished with flan and café con leche...all i can say is wow, we'll be back and spreading the word!

deee-licious!. dined here for the first time last night, and we'll be going back again soon! a pile of their appetizer empanadas would be a most excellent lunch. everything was grilled beautifully or fried to perfection, and it takes a special kind of talent to fry things and not have them come out all greasy - especially when one of the things they're frying is bacon with the skin still on it!
was surprised that the grilled meats on the bandeja la estancia (the dinner sampler) were not more heavily seasoned, but that only meant i could use the amazing green salsa more liberally - and folks who tend to be "spicy-phobes" would also very much enjoy the meal. the skirt steak in the churrasco la estancia was tender and seasoned well.
as the sides go, the salads were nicely shredded (so you don't look like a farm animal in front of your date) and had a bit of cilantro in it, which made it taste special and refreshing. the red beans had great flavor and of course, went well with the rice. the french fries and corn cakes were super crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, perfect! sweet plantains were also yummy, but i've yet to meet any of those i didn't like. :)
we also shared a "cheese flan" which was a deliciously dense slice of custard covered in honey glaze, topped with whip cream, and a little cherry sauce drizzle on the plate.
very excited to have bought a house right around the corner from this gem of a restaurant!carloswas an attentive and friendly host. the casual, un-forced "ma 'n pa" atmosphere is a welcome change of pace from cookie-cutter chain restaurant decor.

it has been a long time since i have had a meal this good.. i will have to say, i have traveled a lot. my job has taken me to many cities with well known cuisine. little did i know this gem was hiding here in brevard county. how can someone make white rice so delicious?? i mean it is just plain white rice! the steak...perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned! and do not even get me started on the sangria!!! the service was beyond any expectations anyone could have. we felt as if we were part of the family.carlostakes much pride in his establishment and it clearly shows. everything was perfect! we started with (sangria) arepa de choclo(sweet corn cake with cheese), the salad that came with my meal--carlos does this amazing thing with the onions-delish!!! my main course was the churrasco la estancia(skirt steak), it was modestly priced. i have paid 3 times the amount for a steak that was sub par. so tender!!! and we had to sample the tres leches and flan! thencarlosbragged about his cappuccino...he was right-the best!!! i have found a new favorite spot!!! do not pass up an opportunity to try them out! you will not be disappointed!

food is excelente.carloswas our congenial server. everything we ordered was muy delicioso. i had the shrimp scampi in a wonderful cream sauce, with white rice green plantains and salad. house dressing on the salad. large, tasty shrimp. my husband had the bandeja paisa, which is like three meals in one. of course we had leftovers as their portions are very generous. and their prices are reasonable. nice atmosphere too. we will return.

friendly atmosphere and good food. carols flagged me and a friend as we were walking away from his restaurant to get a sub at a local supermarket. he assured us the food at the restaurant was better than anything the supermarket would have, and he invited us in. i'm glad we took his invitation. the food was very good and you can't beat the price.carlosand his wife were happy to have us (and indeed all his lunchtime guests). i'd recommend this to anyone, and will of course be returning.

superb !. enjoyed the breaded fish w/tropical sauce,rice,beans, and sweet plantains, also to mixed especial plate of pork, chicken, steak,fried pork rind (more like deep fried thick bacon but only better !)also with rice , beans, and sweet plantains and a white corn cake, nice dipping sauce, had amazing soup,w/ pork corn,yucca, and potato,pork rib meat, fresh cilantro, all comes with house salad and very nice house dressing. the beef and potato empanadas with the green salsa were also fantastic, topped it all off with their homemade flan, best i've ever had! all was very authentic columbian home cooking at it's finest. high recommend this place for a amazing culinary experience.carlosthe owner is very hands on and dedicated to providing his customers with the bests dining experience, from service to the food . *****
