the night could have been perfect... great steak, nice restaurant, good company then their soup and very poor customer service ruined it.
#1 the soup arrived when we're almost done with the steak
#2 the soup was not a soup. it was water mixed with some sort of mushroom essence. i am not a chef but hell i can make better mushroom soup than that! the chef must have been smoking something when s/he was making that garbage.
#3 i politely told the waiter that the soup was not good...the waiter didn's say anything. i asked for for the manager and just told her straight that their soup is horrible. her response, i think she said sorry, but it stopped at that. the soup was php 350 (or maybe even more) i think and that is php 350 wasted. i do not mind paying 6k for great food, but not for this soup. that php 100 goto at goodah has more value for your money, seriously. they say you get what you pay for, i agree when it comes to their steak. but because that soup will rob you. and so is the service charge that you pay for supposedly great service. that charge should've been used for training their staff to handle customer feedback and complaints like that.
#4 after escalating my soup complaint, no credit was given or any freebie to at least pacify an upset customer.
so i'd rather go to raging bull at shangri la the fort for my steak cravings.
