i love the 44 stanley vibe and l8 is in the heart of it. they are known for their sandwiches, burgers and paninis and they serve delicious craft beers, g&t's and they have a wonderful selection of wines. they really have agreatmenu, dying to go there for breakfast.

the service was good, but the food did take a while to arrive.

now onto the food, i ordered the mclovin’ burger it was tasty, but kind of lacked seasoning. the patty was cooked well, but my greens were soggy :( the boys at the table ordered the dude and they absolutely loved it, the yolk was runny and the flavours were tasty. others at the table ordered the mr wolf open sandwich: chicken, feta, peppadews, avo and l8 sauce. the chicken was succulent but needed more sauce. 

a lovely place to visit on the weekend with some friends.

i’ve got food a few times from here, my most recent being the worst, the other times the food was pleasant.
i love the toasties, but the burger i recently had was horrible, bad quality bun, dry patty and the chips weren’tgreateither.

had agreatexperience in the hot summer morning under the shade. the breakfast was delicious and the drinks super refreshing. i will definitely come back! it was not packed and the service was very quick, try it out😉

got there around 10am, the perfect time from branch
under some tree shade, birds singing and alive with the buzz of foot steps and people chatting, it was fantastic, ordered the hibiscus and vanilla tea, bring on the higher living, it was really,greatand the bill the butcher sandwich was sublime, steak charred to perfection well medium is perfection,
i’m so going back

what agreatlittle spot, but tables under the trees out in the shade.  i ordered the cartman grilled beef burger, which is topped with a creamy mushroom sauce, onion rings and bacon.  my friend had the mclovin burger which is served with mozzarella, homemade bacon, avocado and fig sauce.  they are both absolutely delicious.  prices are very reasonable and service is great.

food isgreatand the setting has a charming ambiance - we ordered breakfasts and they were all delicious. the service however is really not up to standard and brings the whole experience down. there is only one waiter handling the whole floor and this was on a saturday morning, which is probably the busiest time. they really need to get more waiters and up the service.

there sandwiches are number one. they have a good selection of beer including your regular south african beers.greatfor a quick bite on a lunch break.

the place is small but has agreatfeel. food was ultra delicious(the burgers especially). service was outstanding. overall just a wonderful experience. really enjoyed their gin and tonic combinations 👌🏾

this is a lovely spot nestled in the vibey 44 stanley in milpark. quick service, good food andgreatcoffee. however they ran short on a few ingredients which left limited choices on the drinks menu. i ate the lester burnham sandwich which was good but felt the turkish bread a little too tough with an overpowering amount of pesto. all round nice experience.

i love 44 stanley and my favourite spot in here is l8 café. coffee is amazing. we always have the bill the butcher sandwich on the gourmet turkish bread. absolutely delicious 👌 i love the seating area.greatservice every single time.

popped in lunch for with my sister today .
44 on stanley is a lovely environmentgreatambiance
we tried l8 cafe. i had mc lovin bun less burger with salad which i battled to eat every bite was very sandy :-( i informed the waiter and spoke to the manager after i ate the meal , it was kind of them to deduct the meal from the bill however does not take away the bad eating experience !! life is too short to eat a bad meal !!!
my sister had the dude burger which she enjoyed .

i must say i was not crazy about the burger patty for a gourmet burger place , safe to say it was just okay .

nothing extra ordinary....

super cool place.greatfood ,greata presentation , excellent friendly service , relaxed atmosphere. i would advise anyone to visit this amazing cafe as it accommodates for all. itsgreatand well worth it.

great cafe with agreatmenu, friendly owner and staff! had some awesome belgian beer! the spot is quaint and cozy with agreatvibe to it! will definitely be returning!🍻
