beef not wellcooked..............................

very well boiled kothuarri ( kerala rice ). traditionallycookedfish curry. what can i say about the beef... heavenly !!!

but the meat is notcookedwell so please do consider about that too.

that was a great experience from this outlet. i ordered beef ularthiyadhu and beef roast and was 100% satisfied. firstly the packaging was on point and there was no spill. secondly the quantity was sufficient and it was worth for the price paid. thirdly, the taste was on top notch and was spicy to my taste level. beef ularthiyadhu was so good and that's my personal favorite now. beef roast was good but felt it was little sweeter rather being spicy and was too oily. the beef pieces in both the dishes werecookedso well and was very easy to munch on. just enjoyed its authentic taste and a must visit place.

worst food i have ever tasted in my life. beef roast is very very hard rubbery notcookedproperly its full of onions worst gravy. ghee rice is also notcookedproperly some bad smell in rice. not good worst ever. people don't go these kind of restaurants ever.

if you love kumarakom, please try to sit this one out. this outlet is part of the food court in global info city, perungudi. being an outlet in the middle of several other eateries, there is severe compromise in quality and customer service. we were new to this location and came by because google maps led us here. this is mainly for the employees working at info city. we ordered chicken biriyani and beef kothuporotta. they didn't have a spoon to give us even after waiting. we had to serve the hot food with bare hands. on repeated requests, one of the staff brought some spoon and he literally wiped it on his shirt and brought it and said there's no other spoon. the food tasted bland and felt like somebody who hated their jobcookedit. i never waste food or let anyone with me waste either. i always end up finishing off food that my friends intend to waste. but this time, i just couldn't eat it. we pretty much wasted more than half of the biriyani. in short, i don't know if it's a one off thing, or if they don't care about restaurant quality service because it's just an outlet in a food court where corporate folks grab a quick lunch. if you are not working in this complex, please pick any other kumarakom outlet. if you work there, well you decide.

nice malabar food. have tried meals, parotta, fish polichadhu, palampori.

good things:
parotta and curry are at right kerela style.
fish polichadhu, size is good andcookedwell.

needs improvement:
side dish given with meals is very primitive. limited. no good taste. but healthy.
palampori is not tasting like the ones we get in kerela.
