i'm so excited with the service of this restaurant. the chef came out and expressed that they have tamari and will make any dish made with soy sauce with tamari instead. he pointed out every safe menu item and every item that could be made gluten free. he expressed confidence at having served to gluten free customers frequently. we also had a friend with an allergy to fenugreek, which is commonly in curry. he was able to confidently state that theircurrywas free of fenugreek, but, for the sake of reassurance, brought out the container with the ingredient mix. i'm very satisfied with my experience. because of the shared kitchen i would not necessarily declare this establishment "celiac friendly," but they are so accommodating, i suggest you try if you can! :-) :-)

crazy good!. koung thai is amazing, the setting, the people, and the food. i absolutely love this place, there is not a dish yet that i have ordered that i wouldn't order again. when i find a restaurant that i enjoy i like to work my way through the entire menu but there are so many dishes that i have fallen for here that it is going to take me a long time to accomplish this task. i am always amazed by how fresh the vegetables are and the presentation of each dish. if you like spicy just tell your always helpful server, spice levels are optional and i promise you no matter how spicy you think you like your food they can take it to whole nother level. waltz on in and grab you up a singha thai beer, summer rolls, and panangcurryand thank me later!

really bad food and the worst service ever. not sure who is really writing the good reviews on this place, but my guess is that it's either the owner or people who have no idea what thai food is supposed to taste like. we had the panang cuury, pad thai noodles and the cashew nut dishes. thecurrywas ok. the other 2 were disgusting. the noodles smelt foul and had a gross flavor. the vegetables in the cashew dish were old tasted rotten. told the waitress, manager and owner. no one cared. don't waste your money.

this is one of my family's favorite restaurants in rockwall. i've tried every one of theircurrydishes and they're all amazing. including their coconut soup- some of the best i've had! the employees are always smiling, polite and accommodating. plus, it's much easier to get in and out of than other places in rockwall. we like to go to koung thai on friday nights when we don't want to fight the crowds elsewhere.

fabulous green curry!. i love their green curry. i especially love the fact that it was super spicy. i love spicy food and i quite often find that people will makecurrya little too mild for my taste. i'm the kind of person who eats raw jalapenos on a daily basis so i love my food to be spicy and hot and that's what i love about this place. when you tell them you like it spicy hot, that's what they give you. now if your not like me, they will accommodate the food to your taste. the pad thai is also pretty good. i especially love their po tak soup, i just wish they'd given me a bigger bowl. i think it's overpriced considering how small the bowl was. i don't think their service was very good. the waiter i had was an airhead. but i do plan on going back cuz their food was really delicious. i went for lunch and their specials are reasonably priced. i do however wish they'd given me the option of ordering from their dinner menu. when i asked, the waiter didn't seem to understand me so i wound up with lunch.
