food was fantastic and well presented as well, however service in this instance was awful. i have never left no tip before.

waitress seemed more interested in doing other things. was not too busy. never took a single plate off the table, one refill and the old old cups remained. table looked more like a dishwashing station than a table looked by the end. had to wait around 15-20 minutes to see the waitress again after she dropped off the to-go boxes.

this is actaully the first review i have ever wrote. which is a shame because thefoodwas spot on.

how about meh?. service = great. ambiance, good.food= not so much... the cuisine is definitely an exercise in mediocrity (at best). edible, but certainly nothing special. too bad because the place looks really nice and seems quite busy at times... one of the less impressive establishments along hertel ave (and there are some gems!).

pretty solid diner/casual restaurant.foodis always good, service is usually above average, menu has a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. similar deal as panos just different interior. clean inside and they have little patios for outdoor seating in warmer months (although the view out front is not too hot). good spot for breakfast or lunch.

i have been here several times and i love it. the atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the service is some of the best i have seen in any restaurant. thefoodis amazing. the last time i went, i tried the stuffed grape leaves and the spanakopita and it was fresh, flavorful, and i will definitely be ordering it again

miss the nickel juke boxes and booths. been eating here for years and years. thefoodis consistent. if anything, they've gotten better (and cleaner). try the grilled pita with kesseri cheese and tomato.

poor hospitality. i took my kids to kosta's last night for dinner.. we go there all of the time and really enjoy theirfoodhowever, last night was different.
while i was eating my salad, i felt something sharp in my mouth. it turned out to be a long wire bristle from one of the grill tools.. this is what the waitress told me..
they never asked if i was okay, never offered to take the salad off of the bill.. more or less expected me to just pay and leave..
i don't think that i will be visiting kosta's again for a while

i enjoyed some of the best greekfoodi've ever had on the patio. our waitress, alycia, was sweet and attentive and thefoodarrived quickly. the dolmades and pastisto were well seasoned and authentic. overall it was a great experience. i'll be back!

always satisfied. my wife and i have become a regular here. thefoodis always great and consistent. the staff is pleasant and i've never had a long wait for anything. great variety and selection! i'd recommend it to anyone and everyone.

outstanding service and excellent tasting food. i decided to try thefoodat kosta's. after reading some reviews on urbanspoon and foursquare, i trusted my best instinct in good reviews and went there for dinner with my girlfriend. my selection was chicken parmesan, which came with a choice of soup or salad. i chose the soup and got the chowder, which had a tomato base, and very delicious. my girlfriend got the gyro panini which came with french fries. she enjoyed it very much. we also had a glass of water and some lemon. the lemons were fresh cut, and still had full flavor. our server was very hospitable and checked on us more than 3 times in the time that we were there.

we definitely recommend going to this restaurant if you love great food, with a greek style, and hospitality.

affordable excellence. everything i have tried on the menu has been delicious. i typically order the turkey club and the paninis. the place is spotless, well-decorated and well-lit, the service courteous and friendly.foodis prepared quickly. servings are generous. i often go with my family and friends, who so far have also been impressed. eating out on the patio is great fun. if i had to offer one criticism, it would be that the fries often arrive a tad bit too cold.

food is of consistent good quality. i have been to kostas several times over the past five years and have always found thefoodto be consistently good and also budget friendly. i revisted kostas this week and again enjoyed the chicken gyro. the chicken was moist and had good flavor, the veggies inside the pita were fresh, the pita itself was warm and fresh and the tzatziki sauce also complimented the sandwich well (although i had to take some of it off as i thought it to be too much; but that is a personal opinion). in the past i have enjoyed the lentil soup and the greek salad. service is always friendly and efficient. i would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for basic greekfoodfor a very fair price.

"eh" comes to mind.. let me start off by saying that our waitress was incredibly sweet, and when i mentioned that myfoodwas well, horrible after taking a few bites she took it back and offered something on the house. thefoodis really just mediocre, to say the least. i ordered chicken souvlaki, and got a plate of dry cut up chicken breast with minimal flavour. probably would never go here again.
