probably better options bit on a sunday afternoon about it. the breakfast omelettes looke good.

food was fantastic and well presented as well, however service in this instance was awful. i have never left no tip before.

waitress seemed more interested in doing other things. was not too busy. never took a single plate off the table, one refill and the old old cups remained. table looked more like a dishwashing station than a table looked by the end. had to wait around 15-20 minutes to see the waitress again after she dropped off the to-go boxes.

this is actaully the first review i have ever wrote. which is a shame because the food was spot on.

triple charged for my salad!. went to kosta's for lunch last week with a coworker. we each ordered salads and attempted to split the bill on credit cards. this was a huge disaster as i was overcharged on my portion of the split. the owner told me to just pay him cash since he couldn't figure out the cash register but assured me my credit card would not be charged. not only did i pay cash for my portion or the meal but was charged for my meal, and my coworker's meal, who had already paid her portion in a separate transaction. attempted to call today to have this straightened out but apparently no manager on site. let's hope they figure this mess out. if they do not reimburse me for my inconvenience and troubles, i will not be back! i will post an update on their reaction to this situation. make sure you check your bill for accuracy!

how about meh?. service = great. ambiance, good. food = not so much... the cuisine is definitely an exercise in mediocrity (at best). edible, but certainly nothing special. too bad because the place looks really nice and seems quite busy at times... one of the less impressive establishments along hertel ave (and there are some gems!).

pretty solid diner/casual restaurant. food is always good, service is usually above average, menu has a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. similar deal as panos just different interior. clean inside and they have little patios for outdoor seating in warmer months (although the view out front is not too hot). good spot for breakfast or lunch.

i have been here several times and i love it. the atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the service is some of the best i have seen in any restaurant. the food is amazing. the last time i went, i tried the stuffed grape leaves and the spanakopita and it was fresh, flavorful, and i will definitely be ordering it again

miss the nickel juke boxes and booths. been eating here for years and years. the food is consistent. if anything, they've gotten better (and cleaner). try the grilled pita with kesseri cheese and tomato.

poor hospitality. i took my kids to kosta's last night for dinner.. we go there all of the time and really enjoy their food however, last night was different.
while i was eating my salad, i felt something sharp in my mouth. it turned out to be a long wire bristle from one of the grill tools.. this is what the waitress told me..
they never asked if i was okay, never offered to take the salad off of the bill.. more or less expected me to just pay and leave..
i don't think that i will be visiting kosta's again for a while

i've had several breakfasts there this past year and every one has been outstanding. i usually get the breakfast pair with the maple syrup (which costs extra). over-medium eggs are perfectly done and hash browns are also perfectly seasoned. i've never had dinner here but breakfast is excellent.

i enjoyed some of the best greek food i've ever had on the patio. our waitress, alycia, was sweet and attentive and the food arrived quickly. the dolmades and pastisto were well seasoned and authentic. overall it was a great experience. i'll be back!

overall...bland and disappointing. i ordered a simple lamb gyro...that's it, nothing complicated. what i got was bland as can be. aside from the overload of tzatziki sauce that got everywhere...the lamb was just so bland, and it was cut into thick pieces, not shaved like a proper gyro. just really disappointing.

same thing for my wife as well. she ordered a hot roast beef sandwich. we should have known that it wasn't going to be good when it came out and the gravy (pretty sure it was an instant mix or came from a jar) had a film over it. and the meat was again extremely bland.

just really disappointing overall.

monte christo was delicious!! garlic mashed potatoes were awesome. veggie gyro that husband had was also very yummy. two kids very much enjoyed the grilled cheese and fries (not greasy, good texture).

always satisfied. my wife and i have become a regular here. the food is always great and consistent. the staff is pleasant and i've never had a long wait for anything. great variety and selection! i'd recommend it to anyone and everyone.
