decent for takeout. if you're in the mood for westernized chinese food, then you'll really enjoy this place as that seems to be their specialty, however they do have a few more traditional dishes on the menu as well.
i am very fond of their black bean dishes as well as their cantonese chow mein and satay dishes and usually order one or all of them as staples along with something new. the way their mapo tofu (mah por tofu on the menu) is presented is unique and i quite like it too, though it could be spicier.. you can tell they tone down the spice to a canadian palette.
i'm not quite in their delivery area (in my opinion) but they still have always delivered to my house and have never once said anything about the distance or charged me a single cent extra... in fact my delivery orders have always been free (no delivery fee).
my one big complaint is that in a lot of the more westernized dishes (such as sweet and sour anything, honey garlic, ginger beef, etc) they come extremely salty. whether it's from msg or not, the salt was so much in some breaded veal i ordered once, i had to throw the entire thing out after eating only a couple pieces of the entire dish.
their portions aren't as "insane" as some of the other reviewers here may lead you to believe... they're a lot smaller than plenty of other places in the city order up, but they're definitely not small, and the price is very reasonable for what comes in your order.
it seems to be a balancing act between what's good and what's not, but when you find that balance, the place can be incredibly good for that quick chinese food fix, especially for the price which is one of the best valuations i've seen from any chinese restaurant in years.
