think again!. this used to be one of my favorite chinese food restaurants for take out. however, after a lunch buffet experience there, where my 10 month old child was charged $6.99 plus tax after eating a couple of noodles and about a tablespoon of rice off of my dinner plate. lunch buffet was not very tasty. after this last experience i will never go back again! thanks komodo!

amazing. best chinese food i've had.. insane portions for the price. the chinese menu is great, but the burger and fries are even better. my only complaint is that it's a bit too salty.

komodo. we live next door so quite often on a week-end night we hop over for some egg rolls and breaded shrimp. staff is great. food is good. ordering from the menu a la carte is better than the lunch buffet though.

hidden gem. have driven past this place for ages , finally slippery roads and brutal cold forced a choice close to home. a quick review of urban spoon and decision was made. best chinese food in a long time, i generally order from 4v
seasons but i must say this little place can give them a run for their money, there is eat in and it's bigger than it looks but very "diner-ish" but you won't notice the surroundings once you get your meal. the "komodao" beef was lovely, lemon chicken crispy and tartly lemony , pan fried shrimps great. looking forward to trying more choices

awesome food. the best chinese food i can remember having. they just get better and better each time. their ginger beef is wonderful, along with all other items we tried on the menu (dinner for 2, etc.). have only ordered for delivery and the wait time is not always as long as told and it always arrives hot and fresh. we do not live close, but just within the delivery area. thank you for some good eats.

the portions were huge, cheap price and it tasted great. not to mention the staff was super friendly. definitely coming back here.

love this place. it's the place my in-laws order from regularly and when my iwn parents stopped by for dinner and wanted chinese, we called them up and ordered a meal for 5. we got two huge bags of food, hot and flavourful. i love the chow mein and beef vegetables. will be mu go-to from now on.

finally, a good chinese restaurant!!!

we have been looking for over three years and finally found one. excellent dinner for two, the cantonese noodles were fantastic, and the delivery lady was super nice. :-). we have leftovers for tomorrow and will definitely be going back to them the next time we are wanting chinese. thank you very much.

you'd never suspect it's so good. we went to komodo on the recommendation of a friend this evening, and wow it was good! hidden away in a strip mall in windsor park, physically it is not impressive, but we went for the food - and it did impress. started with the bbq pork- about as standard an item as you can request, but theirs was outstandingly good. my partner ordered egg rolls, which i usually don't like, but i did like theirs. tasted house made with very nice vegetables. mains were komodo beef, lemon chicken, and a cantonese chicken chow main - all really good. also tried the deep fried wontons - delicious with meat inside, and the crab rolls which i did not enjoy. all in all will definitely go back
,service was great - i suspect he's the owner's son. lovely.

singapore noodles best in st vital. we were buying some chinese take out to take to a friends in royalwood. found this place on urbanspoon. the way i rate chinese food is on the singapore noodles it was the best that i have had in that part of winnipeg. it had a little zip and a great curry favour. the tofu in black bean sauce was also very good. cantones chowmein was good. the staff was extremely friendly next time we are in the area we will be back.

surprising. after reading reviews on urban spoon, i decided to order. delivery took 30mins and food was hot and fresh as if i ordered in the restaurant. portions were more than enough for 2 people. id say this place has the best chicken balls i've ever had. defiantly recommendation if in the windsor park area!!

crispy chicken to die for. i use to live in the area, so i may as well give komodo restaurant a good rating! i use to order from them when i lived in the townhouses near by, my mother would bring some after she got home from work. i really like their fried rice, wonton soup, and the crispy chicken (lemon) is to die for. i haven't been in the area for a long time, but i plan to one of these days to order some food for a celebration - i'm glad they're still in business because this place is great!
