there is only a countable number of restaurants that serve kerala cuisine in pondicherry and as soon as i saw the puttu, kadala curry, appam being listed on their menu i was hoping to try their food sometime. so i ordered via swiggy, the food was delivered in time and the packing was good.
the order was: 2 appam, 2 kerala paratha, kadala curry and puttu - beef curry combo. the kadala curry was delicious, though i wish the oil was less but the taste was delightful with appam and paratha. the soft and flaky kerala paratha and the spongy appam wasgoodwith the gravy. i didn’t try the beef curry but the verdict of my partner was good, the quantity of the beef was sumptuous for a person and the combination of puttu and the curry was good. after a discount, we paid rs.129 inr for the above food (without discount the price came to rs.250 inr).
the food wasgoodin terms of taste. it was totally worth the money spent and the portion wasgoodwas 3 average persons.
