there is only a countable number of restaurants that serve kerala cuisine in pondicherry and as soon as i saw the puttu, kadala curry, appam being listed on their menu i was hoping to try their food sometime. so i ordered via swiggy, the food was delivered in time and the packing was good.
the order was: 2 appam, 2 kerala paratha, kadalacurryand puttu - beefcurrycombo. the kadalacurrywas delicious, though i wish the oil was less but the taste was delightful with appam and paratha. the soft and flaky kerala paratha and the spongy appam was good with the gravy. i didn’t try the beefcurrybut the verdict of my partner was good, the quantity of the beef was sumptuous for a person and the combination of puttu and thecurrywas good. after a discount, we paid rs.129 inr for the above food (without discount the price came to rs.250 inr).
the food was good in terms of taste. it was totally worth the money spent and the portion was good was 3 average persons.
