koharu japanese restaurant

very disappointed!. just moved here from the east coast. we went to dinner here on one of our first nights in the area. the food came out cold, and tasted horrible. we ordered chicken teriyaki, something you think would be easy to get right. it tasted as if the sauce had been added after the chicken had been cooked with no seasoning at all. it was awful. not to mention the chicken wasn't even cleaned. i don't expect to pull feathery skin out of my food, especially when i'm being charged so much for it. i ate a total of 2 bites before being too disgusted to continue. the server didn't even come over to check on us after the meal was delivered. we waited at least 30 minutes with our plates piled up before anyone assisted us.
it was absolutely not worth the price of the meal. both my boyfriend and ileftvery unsatisfied. we will never go back, and neither should you. save your money and appetites.

overrated. i went here for valentine's day with my boyfriend. the atmosphere wasn't that nice and the food on the menu was very expensive. we ordered a tempura sushi roll ($7.00 for four oversized pieces) and then ordered a combination plate since we weren't super hungry. we got our salad that came with the combo, and the lettuce was frozen but the dressing was good. we waited a while and then got our sushi roll which was good, and then waited probably 20-30 more minutes and we never got our food and the waitress never said anything or even looked at us. the place wasnt that busy yet we felt ignored, so weleft12 bucks on the table and left. we went across the street to a more casual teriyaki/vietnamese cuisine place and were much happier!! go up to seattle if you want good sushi that is much cheaper
