to start, we shared the yellowtail. the thick cuts of fresh fish were layered with grapefruit segments, and avocado, then topped with murray river salt, sriracha, and ligurian olive oil. each bite was incredibly fresh and agreatway to start off the meal.

knife is in agreatlocation at mockingbird and 75.  this area can get overwhelmed and you definitely need a reservation.  we didn't have one when we walked in off the street.  we did get there early enough that we could get a free parking spot before the valet took it over.  we also were able to grab a spot in the bar to try dinner there.  it worked out nicely. 

staff was knowledgeable and helpful.  the bacon flight is right up my alley.  5 different pieces from around the country - $14.  i ordered a steak to go with my bacon as well as some of their macaroni.  everything was ingreatshape and complimented the other items.  i do think tall of this was maybe a little too much for one person.  wife ordered her own and was pleased with her 8 or 9 oz filet.

i'd go back once or twice a year.

was in town for 1 night, nothing but steak houses in this city. however, due to the proximity to our hotel and recent esquire article, i gave it a try. wow, glad i did. sat at the chef's counter. service was excellent. food was too. they have lots of side dishes that are quite good and enough choices of different things that you don't feel like you're at a typical steak house.greatvibe too. highly recommend!

great experience. the food that we had was excellent, the service wasgreatand our waiter kareem,was attentive.our overall experience was outstanding,we will be back.
