kim & li chinese restaurant

wow! long time customer, last time ever!. have been eating here for 10+ years...orderedtake away tonight & got told it would be 30 minutes plus. no dramas it's friday night & busy. get a phone call after 8 minutes saying it was ready... normally would be thrilled, but we couldn't get there to pick it up so quickly. asked very nicely if they could make it fresh again as it was their mistake on timing & i'm pregnant so don't want cold food - not overly safe. got told by boss lady - nope, can't do! might microwave but too hard to make again! poor, poor, poor. and probably compromising food safety on many levels! reheated chicken at the best of times is not ideal! oh well - throw it in the bin you rude people & lose the $50 order. which we place on an almost weekly basis! one very disappointed loyal former customer!

went here for mother's day. and i must say their crispy pork or whatever that was, was absolutely amazing. i should've justorderedthree serves of that because it trumped everything else we ordered. the szechuan chicken was really boring and the fried rice and spring rolls were average. prawn toast...i'm not so sure. i think i just really like prawn toast and can't seem to fault it. service was good just busy is all so we weren't exactly focused on. all in all going back for that pork.

weorderedtake away vegetarian fried rice{and the lady even repeated it} but got prawn fried rice. that wouldn't be a problem if i wasn't vegetarian but i am so we had to pick all of the pieces of prawn out but there were still mini bits of prawn in it. the food is normally good when they actually get the order right

thoughtful owners. have been coming here for years now and the owners remember my order better than i do! when i recentlyordereda dish, the owner came out and asked if i like it without onion like i usually do! thank you! fresh produce as always and relaxed atmosphere!

extras!. i forgot to mention in my last comment that there are specials that are not listed on the menu.
they include crispy pork with plum sauce, peking duck, calamari or prawns with spicy salt, chicken and lemongrass and xo chill prawns.

best chinese in town!. i have uploaded an updated menu as of sunday the 7th of october 2012.
the chinese food here is amazing and authentic.
every meal is delicious.
service is friendly and efficient and the food is quick.
great restaurant!
