wow! long time customer, last time ever!. have been eating here for 10+ years... ordered take away tonight & got told it would be 30 minutes plus. no dramas it's friday night & busy. get a phone call after 8 minutes saying it was ready... normally would be thrilled, but we couldn't get there to pick it up so quickly. asked very nicely if they could make it fresh again as it was their mistake on timing & i'm pregnant so don't want cold food - not overly safe. got told by boss lady - nope, can't do! might microwave but too hard to make again! poor, poor, poor. and probably compromising food safety on many levels! reheated chicken at the best of times is not ideal! oh well - throw it in the bin you rude people & lose the $50 order. which we place on an almost weekly basis! one very disappointed loyal former customer!

had takeaway at kim & li's in mt eliza for the first time tonight. really excellent. full of flavour and freshness and good value for money. will definitely use takeaway again or go to restaurant. well done kim and li

went here for mother's day. and i must say their crispy pork or whatever that was, was absolutely amazing. i should've just ordered three serves of that because it trumped everything else we ordered. the szechuan chicken was really boring and the fried rice and spring rolls were average. prawn toast...i'm not so sure. i think i just really like prawn toast and can't seem to fault it. service was good just busy is all so we weren't exactly focused on. all in all going back for that pork.

disappointed as have eaten here before. called to order and asked if they could cater for fish allergy. said yes, placed order and drove to pick up only to be told they can’t cater for fish as use pots for all dishes. pretty poor.

we ordered take away vegetarian fried rice{and the lady even repeated it} but got prawn fried rice. that wouldn't be a problem if i wasn't vegetarian but i am so we had to pick all of the pieces of prawn out but there were still mini bits of prawn in it. the food is normally good when they actually get the order right

amazing food! my favourite dish was the crispy skin pork! beautiful! staff were really friendly. was a very busy night and wait times were not even bad! very happy

first time to this chinese restaurant, started with prawn crackers, i should have left after consuming one, oily and cold !
ordered beef satay, crispy chicken, chinese broccoli with garlic sauce and fried rice!.
beef satay tasted like almost boiled and no flavour crispy chicken wasn't crispy and broccoli so so! fried rice was a soggy mess!!.
would never return !!

i have been going here for over 10 years. always great meals and friendly staff. kim & li are both lovely and care a lot about their customers. try the mango chicken (in season), beijing beef, honey pepper beef, and crispy skin pork in plum sauce.

great dining. great food great service whether you eat in or have take away...
never had a bad meal, always trying a new dish and never disappointed.

thoughtful owners. have been coming here for years now and the owners remember my order better than i do! when i recently ordered a dish, the owner came out and asked if i like it without onion like i usually do! thank you! fresh produce as always and relaxed atmosphere!

extras!. i forgot to mention in my last comment that there are specials that are not listed on the menu.
they include crispy pork with plum sauce, peking duck, calamari or prawns with spicy salt, chicken and lemongrass and xo chill prawns.
delicious!

best chinese in town!. i have uploaded an updated menu as of sunday the 7th of october 2012.
the chinese food here is amazing and authentic.
every meal is delicious.
service is friendly and efficient and the food is quick.
great restaurant!

disappointed. if you require gluten free food do not eat here! my family and i went to this restaurant for a meal tonight with the thought that many asian dishes are already, or can be slightly altered, in order to be gluten free. we were met with a resistant chef who informed us that the only thing we could have would be steamed vegetables with no sauce - apparently even the tofu contains gluten! we went across the road to le hoang who happily did gluten free dishes (one lemongrass and one ginger sauced, both with tofu) that were delicious! very happy to have left kim & li and found a friendlier atmosphere just across the road!

can not understand review from ellabella. we have been going to this restaurant regularly for the past six years and we travel for 40 min to get there. we love this restaurant, the food is always fantastic the service is always prompt and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. we have never had a bad experience here and we always take family and friends who always enjoy it. the decor is nothing flash but would highly recommend.

had a very disappointing experience tonight at this place. the food was average, the service was abysmal & the watered down apple juice was charged at $10 for two glasses!!!!!!!! the banquet included tea & coffee which we opted for soft drink & were also charged extra for this. when questioned, the lady serving was very rude & made no attempt to even resolve our concerns. we will not be returning for the rubbery calamari, chewy scallops & excessive usage of ice in highly priced poor quality non alcoholic refreshments.

consistently good. kim & li serve chinese food and a smaller selection of thai food. we've been eating there and getting takeaway from there since moving to the area nearly two years ago. every meal has been winner. the service has always been very good.

the thai curries aren't quite as potent as others i've had, but my wife likes them better that way. i've enjoyed all the other thai stir fry dishes, though my wife wasn't as fond of one that i was quite fond of (too spicy for her).

as far as the chinese food goes, i like it better from kim & li than i do from say shark fin inn.
