amazing!! had the gumbo ya ya.. it is a meal within itself, loaded withshrimpcrab and susage. very friendly staff and great atmosphere! wide selection of out of this world creole food. a must!

really neat little place... it's a very casual, almost a mix between a sit-down restaurant and a fast food joint. i say that because you order at a counter and pay in advance for your meal & fill your own drinks. that being said, the food is absolutely amazing! these people obviously have the cajun thing down to an art... we had fried frog legs, fried alligator, fried crawfish, jambalaya, red beans and rice,shrimpétouffée, and gumbo. the dinner portions are huge and two people can eat very well for about $35. if you are up for some creole food, this place will not disappoint!

good eatin'. went there in 2011 and enjoyed a great meal with fish,shrimpand gator. definitely not fancy but very fun. going back june of 2013 and will have a couple meals at kenny b's!

absolutely the worst dining experience we've ever had on the island. this happened on father's day 2017. i've taken a year to post, so that i could be as fair as possible. my job is a service industry job, also. there's certainly a reason that you order and pay up front. we ordered, paid and took a seat. i made my way to the bathroom after we sat down. as i walked to the back, i noticed that the kitchen area looked as if 2 airplanes had crashed. i didn't say anything to my wife and 2 daughters, as this was a father's day outing and i didn't want to ruin it for them. however, they had already noticed the 3 inches of dust on all the decorations and lighting. when we got our plates, the first thing i saw was 4 tablespoons of grease that my flounder was sitting in. one of my daughters had ordered blackenedshrimpas she so often does and she said it was over done, tough and killed with the seasoning. my other daughter had a burger that was tough, chewy and dry. be sure to get any extra condiments when you order, or else you'll wait 30 minutes in the back of the line or finally give up, as we had to do. the owner walked by our table 3 times and never spoke or asked how things were or if he could get us anything else. he couldn't even crack a smile. you are in the wrong business, sir, if you don't know how to acknowledge or appreciate your customers. he was even rude to some of the customers waiting in line. we won't be back and really wonder how he stays in business. maybe, others don't notice their surroundings and just accept rude behavior. poor food quality is a little easier to swallow with great service and atmosphere. you'll get none of these from kenny b's!!! please don't waste your time or money!!!

the food here is as it should be to be billed as la style. the only thing that could have made myshrimppoboy better would have been forshrimpseason to be open. the gumbo was excellent, perfectly seasoned.

great food! excellent service! not overly spicy for the kids and just right for us. voodoo pasta was creamy and delicious. steamedshrimpdisappeared before main meal showed up.

a great place to go in hilton head. food is amazing. kids and adults loved their meals. we hadshrimpand grits and carrollton casserole chicken fingers and chilled shrimp. all delicious. save room for beignets!

fantastic n'awlins fare. something for everybody; great décor and cheerful service. gumbo was rich, perfectly seasoned and delicious. served with cornbread - perfect, not at all dry. shrimpwith grits was outstanding. terrific portions and wide selection of items. only disappointment was having being too full for the beignets.

the bestshrimpand grits i have ever had and they come with 3 fried green tomatoes! brownie was delicious! we also liked the muffalata. hard to find place but worth it! it is next to bilo behind wild wing.

literally a hole in the wall. the food was great. and this place is within walking distance of coligny beach. i only tried this place because of urbanspoon and i am so glad i tried it. i had theshrimppoboy, the muffuletta, red beans and rice and the gumbo. all good picks. can't wait to go back. also, very economical.

delecious both times. wanted to try this on our stay last week and it did not disappoint at all. the jumbalaya was fantastic and i love the way they serve the kids meals in a doggie bowl - very cool.

with the first meal getting my approval, i decided to go back again - this time for ashrimppo'boy which was excellent as well.

this will be a regular place for me to go every year.

we were really disappointed in kenny b'a. my wife had theshrimpétouffée and it was bland and tasted a little burnt, i had the bbqshrimpwhich was hot but didn't have any flavor really. my daughter's chicken po-boy was good, but nothing special. i have friends in new orleans that say never get cajun food if your not in south la, i guess they're right .

the food here is amazing. theshrimpand grits are so good that i cannot eat that dish any place else. kids meals are served out of dog bowls which is a big hit with the kids. all the cajun food is delicious. we come here every time we visit hilton head.

can't wait to go back!. we had a great experience, not too long of a wait and the food was all delicious. blackened redfish with crawfish étouffée, you could see the fresh ingredients and crawfish in each bite. my husband got the barbecueshrimppo boy and it was also awesome. so many things i want to try, so will look forward to next time. not a large place, but if you don't want to pay for a view sitting on a dock next to the ocean and just want great food at a great price, this is the place.
