last meal at ken & angie's. we have always enjoyed ken &angies- good, simple, chinese food we often brought as take away. until last night's meal. perhaps there was a substitute cook? either way, what we received really shouldn't have been let out the door. 'cashew beef' in name. in reality, a few strips of flaccid looking beef, floating in about a cup of oil on the plate. a couple of rough chopped bits of celery & carrot, interspersed with crushed garlic from a jar (with the accompanying vinegary smell) and tinned champignons. we couldn't even start to eat it unfortunately. the special fried rice was also very different to what we've had before. being one of the only local restaurants offering takeaway, it's a real shame that we won't feel confident eating here again.
