ken and angiies - yuck. we decided to go to ken & angies thai & chinese tonight because the pinjarra chinese restaurant is closed. in hind- sight we should of just driven to armadale!! we ordered crispy duck in lemon sauce - we got fried batter that was cold & greasy, the lemon sauce was warmer than the duck - oh wait there was no duck. we ordered pork spare ribs in plum sauce - got no idea what it was but we threw it out, we ordered seafood combination in chilli sauce, we got fish balls, fake crab meat like you get from a fish & chip shop & 1 piece of rubber that i think was meant to be squid & the sauce was water. the special fried rice had no flavour & was dry. why are these people still in business - if you value you taste buds & your money dont go to ken & angies

i just purchased curry from ken and angies, complelty disgusted in there food and customer service!! first off the curry was like soup with no flavour and undercooked chicken i then rang to discuss this and angie took the phone and started yelling down the phone that curry is like soup and she was to busy to deal with me and then hung up without me getting a word in. i'm disgusted this business even runs and am a regular to getting chinese from them this being the first time trying thai and i will never be back.

wanted to be here for a long time since they got a fire in the restaurant and closed for a period of time. the atmosphere is quite nice and relatively grand, compared to other typical chinese/asian restaurant. the menu got two separate section for chinese and thai. we ordered both section and interesting to have the nasi goreng as well (not either chinese nor thai). overall the food is ok but quite salty in general. the good thing is they are not quite oily. and the other reminder is the salt and pepper pork rib we ordered. actually just like many chinese restaurant oversea, the pork rib is the cut pieces of the pork chop. so just be careful some of the piece is quite meaty but some will still got some bone or just purely a piece of bone without any meat.

last meal at ken & angie's. we have always enjoyed ken & angies - good, simple, chinese food we often brought as take away. until last night's meal. perhaps there was a substitute cook? either way, what we received really shouldn't have been let out the door. 'cashew beef' in name. in reality, a few strips of flaccid looking beef, floating in about a cup of oil on the plate. a couple of rough chopped bits of celery & carrot, interspersed with crushed garlic from a jar (with the accompanying vinegary smell) and tinned champignons. we couldn't even start to eat it unfortunately. the special fried rice was also very different to what we've had before. being one of the only local restaurants offering takeaway, it's a real shame that we won't feel confident eating here again.

excellent. dined here a couple of times in the last month and found it to be excellent. why other reviews say "yuk" and "disappointed" i have no idea. would rate it as one of the best chinese we've ever had. decor is very well done also.

an unhappy customer. their business name, { ken & angies thai and chinese restaurant }
should of given it away! i do not recommend it to people who enjoy "real chinese food! not only the food tasted like a mexican trying to cook morrocan for the first time* it wasn't fresh and tasted recycled! :-(

not bad. the interior is nice for a place in country w.a., and the food quite reasonable in quality. strangely the thai, to me, is more chinese in flavour than thai like. still, been there a few times now and i would put on my its ok list. a list that does not include any top end restaurants in mandurah or surrounds.
