3.5 out of 5. my wife and i tried kellers for the first time tonight. we were not that impressed. the hi light was the sauce. both the regular and sweet were amazing! i had a slicedporksandwich on garlic bread. theporkwas fine. i could not taste any smoke on it and there seemed to be no seasoning on the bark. i got the regular and it was much to small. left me wanting.
for sides we had the mac and cheese, fries and beans. the beans were good but tasted like a can of bushes. the mac and cheese was excellent. the highlight of the sides. we split a whole basket of fries.,it was a ton! they were crinkle cut and done right, but again were bland and had no seasoning. i could, have just got a bag of fries from wal-mart myself and got the same results.
from what i have tried in central florida i would put kellers way below 4rivers, just below dickeys and well above sunny's. i was hoping for more. at least if haveporkon my own smoker as we speak that will be done the right way for lunch tomorrow.

just ok, nothing too special here. the pulledporkwas good, ribs ok, and sliced beef brisket kind of weak. fried okra and dipping sauce was the highlight for me.

casual bbq. good for getting your bbq fix but nothing is really spectacular. i usually order the pulledporkor brisket and my partner always orders the ribs. portions are good but sides are hit or miss unless you order the fries which are always spot on. some beers are 99 cents so if you like beer with your bbq you will be taken care of.

i am very impressed with keller's bbq. i went in to eat and was over all impressed with the service, the quality of the food as well as the cleanliness of the place. my plate was loaded with food and i got three sides. it was more than enough! it is my new favorite spot in town!!

mediocre at best. a bunch of us at work got take out from here one day and it was my first time eating here. i got pulled pork, green beans, toast, and an order of hush puppies. the food was 'ok'. theporkwas a little dry and plain on its own, but the bbq sauce they have was good. the green beans had a lot of liquid, and a lot of pepper. they were flavorful, but it was a little too much pepper taste for my liking. the hush puppies were good, but very greasy. on the plus side, they give you huge portions. you should have seen the salads some of my coworkers got! absolutely giant! and the prices were good. not expensive. but having had better bbq before, this fell flat. it's a personal belief of mine that good bbq meat should taste good on its own before you add any sauce to it. if the meat only tastes good after the sauce is added, you've missed something. kellers is missing something.

some serious bbqin goin' on!. kellers is one of my absolute favorite restaurants -- simple atmosphere, great menu -- wonderful bbq. have you tried the sloppyporksandwich? seriously good. the platters and all-you-can-eat are far too generous. a great place to sit, eat, talk and fill yourself to the gills. the sauces -- regular, sweet, hot -- i recommend a 50/50 mix of sweet and regular, make a killer combination. two can eat for under $20. a fantastic non-chain (always better) family-owned bbq. dont miss out!

first time - it's good!. met a friend staying in orlando for lunch. lake mary was half way for both of us and so we researched some spots on urbanspoon.com. this one got good reviews and rightfully so.

it's been here for quite some time and was very crowded for lunch. a little hard to find from just the address. it's located in the rear of a large shopping center that also includes too jays; this wil help you find it.

it's waitress service. large menu and that's a challenge. they offer several portion sizes and if you are considering their ribs, be aware that choosing the right offering makes a big difference. i made a mistake.

if you have any appetite, stay away from their lunch special ($7.99) portion of ribs. there's only two ribs, two slices of texas toast and one side. since their ribs (st. louis) are very good, you may wish you'd ordered the larger portion ($9.99) or their "all u can east" ($15.99) offering. i never noticed the $9.99 rib offering.

we had an order of their fried corn nuggets as an appetizer and they were very good. my friend had the sampler plate with ribs, slicedporkand sliced beef (they do not have brisket : (( he liked his, too.

their baked beans are excellent. one of the best versions i've ever had.

best bbq in town. all i can say is wow! i used the urban spoon to pick a place to go to lunch today and it pulled up keller’s. i had never been there before, and now i’m wondering where this place has been all of my life.

keller’s is a small little nook in the shopping plaza right off of lake mary blvd and lake emma road. seating is limited during the lunch hour rush so get there a little early to avoid having trouble finding a table. the menu has a wide selection of bbq dishes as well as normal things like sandwiches, burgers, and so on. today i had a pulledporkmeal for lunch. it came with 3 sides; i picked beans mashed potatoes and fries (yes i know that’s 2 servings of potatoes but i’m not a fan of veggies)

theporkwas out of this world. normally when you get pulledporkat a place like sonny’s or smokey bones its usually in the form of a gelatinous blob scooped out of some big pulledporkbucket with an ice-cream scooper… not the case here. this looked fantastic, hand pulled with no nasty clumps of fat mixed in. the mashed potatoes were a creamy delight topped with delicious brown gravy (just like mom makes). the beans… oh the beans were what i would imagine baked beans would taste like if god were to invite me over for a bbq in his heavenly back yard. the fries were lack luster but still good, they were made perfect though by squeezing a little bit of keller’s mustard based bbq sauce on them.
as an added bonus all of the waitresses were cute and friendly and so was the cashier. i will definitely be coming back soon!
