first time - it's good!. met a friend staying in orlando for lunch. lake mary was half way for both of us and so we researched some spots on urbanspoon.com. this one got good reviews and rightfully so.
it's been here for quite some time and was very crowded for lunch. a little hard to find from just the address. it's located in the rear of a large shopping center that also includes too jays; this wil help you find it.
it's waitress service. large menu and that's a challenge. they offer several portion sizes and if you are considering their ribs, be aware that choosing the right offering makes a big difference. i made a mistake.
if you have any appetite, stay away from theirlunchspecial ($7.99) portion of ribs. there's only two ribs, two slices of texas toast and one side. since their ribs (st. louis) are very good, you may wish you'd ordered the larger portion ($9.99) or their "all u can east" ($15.99) offering. i never noticed the $9.99 rib offering.
we had an order of their fried corn nuggets as an appetizer and they were very good. my friend had the sampler plate with ribs, sliced pork and sliced beef (they do not have brisket : (( he liked his, too.
their baked beans are excellent. one of the best versions i've ever had.
