karak and rigag - كرك ورقاق

we tried karak & rigag located in al mamzar for the firsttimeand omg i became a hardcore fan of them instantly. serves a wide range of food and beverages with an emarati twist.
everything that we tried was perfect.
a good place to car hop and chill.
beautiful outdoor swings seating arrangement. friendly staff too.

we ordered the below:

🍝alfredo pink sauce chicken pasta - 10/10 - aed33 - my fav. the best pink sauce pasta i have ever tried. served hot. flavor to die for. blend was perfect. quantity enough for 2 people.

🥞mix cocktail pancakes - 10/10 - aed23 - consists of lotus, kinder, nutella and white chocolate mini pancakes. fluffy and soft. heavenly. impossible to resist. cravings satisfied.

🥤blueberry mojito with 7up - 9/10 - aed15 - ahh, so refreshing.🤤

recently i visited this cafe at mamzar, i didn’t expect that my visit will turn out this amazing. i loved each and everything. their food is super delicious i mean each and every dish has a pleasing taste. their food quality is absolutely perfect. from the starter to the dessert it was all perfectly cooked and served with love.

staff was friendly as well but i feel that service could be quicker as it took alot oftimeto serve our food.
they have an amazing swing seating area outside which is absolutely perfect for winter season to sit and chill. perfect place to visit with friends & colleagues. if you visit this place do try their all of the dishes. i’m sure you won’t regret it. i would definitely recommend this place.

they have best pink pasta and peri peri french fries must try it quantity and quality is very good 👍 even the khabus sandwich is amazing 👏 price is very good 👍 well packed delivery was ontime😊

though not always available i really like the nutella kunafa that is available here which is affordable and also better than the ones the other shops close by serve. with cream on the inside and nutella on the outside this makes for a wonderful dessert. the person who stands on the outside taking orders has been there for a longtimeand is very hard working as well.

loved the fries and the packaging is very neat it was the firsttimei ordered delivery other wise i always go there and enjoy the shakes n chebab. if possible you could try to minimize waste n pack normally with a karak n rigag sticker on top of packaging n that aldo works as a tamper seal. just a suggestion

this place is usual spot for karak tea. thistimetried their new menu.. fries with chicken it was amazing.. the kabab roll was perfect.. the winner was the dessert it was outstanding!! go try them out!

winters in dubai is all about being outdoors and enjoying the weather. karak & rigag is a cute little cafe, located on a very busy strip in mamzar. i really like the swings concept as seating. although limited seating, you manage to find a table. the staff is really friendly and they keep checking up on you fromtimeto time.

the rolls here are really tasty. my personal fav is the chicken mayo garlic roll and the karak tea is really good too.

it’s a little bit overpriced for the area, but the food is good.

so this is my i guess 3-4timeat karak ,and i would say its amazing for their dessert things. we have tried their mix platter of pancakes,brownie box and pancakes with strawberries and white chocloate and i would say they are amazing actully.
one must try their dessert and definately i am going back everytimeand wana try their various dishes.

we were excited to try out karak & rigag at al mamzar & we had a more than happy experience. it’s not your average karak tea joint. they serve emarati food with a twist, burgers, pasta, shakes and desserts. 

we dug into their menu and found out they had loads to offer. the restaurant is small so there is not much space for the dining area inside the restaurant. the outdoor seating is pretty cosy with swinging chairs. 

we started with karak tea. they have a lot of karak and milk in many flavour varieties. we also wanted to try out zaafran (saffron) tea but it wasn’t available. 

the rigag here is a must try. the rigag is a wafer-thin bread and is well-known in the wider gulf region. it’s freshly cooked in house over a large pan and stuffed with good portions of cheese, veggies and meat/chicken (stuffing as per your selection of pizza). we couldn’t stop at one slice and one could feel the flavours in every bite. we tried the chicken pizza rigag. we were stunned by how tasty this thing could be. 

for milkshakes, we tried the lotus shake. they have a good range of chocolate shakes too. would try the other shakes nexttimewe visit as the lotus shake was excellent. 

rolls are another speciality of this restaurant. we tried the chicken mayo garlic roll and we must admit that this was the best roll we ever had. the flavours were tantalizing and literally, all our taste buds and senses were awakened. they claim this is one of their best selling items, and it has 100 reasons to be so!!

we then tried the alfredo pink pasta which was creamy and rich in flavour. it was really creamy and the sauce was top notch. the pasta range is very limited on the menu and we definitely were glad to order this. 

for fries, we ordered the peri peri fries. as the name suggests, the fries were spicy and satisfying. 

we couldn’t miss trying the desserts, so we called for traditional luqaimat in dibs (date syrup). you can choose from honey, lotus and nutella as well. and also, we called for brownie heaven cake which we totally loved. it was served with vanilla ice cream and we finished it in no time! 

parking could be an issue during the weekend but you can also comfortably side park your car and munch on the food seated in your ride. the staff takes your order from your car and delivers it to you as well.  

we left with satisfied tummies and a never forgetful experience. we would definitely come back here.

dubai’s newest attraction is sure to be a must to try with karak. it has everything if you looking for a place to have qualitytimewith friends, colleagues. the variety and quality of food is strong. the best place to full fill your craving for rigag in dubai, the typical outdoor setup with swing is really cool.

me and hubby decided to grab legimat from here today as we had lasttimea while ago and we absolutely loved it , i’m such a big fan of their yummy rigags ! honestly they are one of the best like home made ones mommy makes ❤️

but sad part was today we had to wait for over 40 minutes for a legimat and everytimethey kept saying we are making it fresh sorry ! kinda disappointing but they were friendly enough to give us a free cheese and honey rigag after 30 mins to wait more for our legimat lol

nice gesture but still that’s such a long delay for one order !! kinda unacceptable and trust me if i didn’t pay already i would have literally left !

the reason despite my bad experience giving it 3 star is their good quality of food ! but i would suggest if they can’t provide a item on their menu within a acceptabletimeto their customers , better off to not even serve it !

was outside karak & rigag no one was coming out to take our order inspite of several honks no one still came then i had to literally step out and go to the shop and order for a karak , it costed me dhs 4/- only and the tea was served to me within 2 mins oftimewhich is fair enough . the tea was good not bad , the aroma of the karak tea was 👍🏻
