the food was good , but the service and the staff are the people who are putting this place down. they have no clue on what is meant by the word *service* or *hospitality*. definitely not coming back here because of the super bad service

poor customer service. some of the dishes (avoly fry & syrian irachi fry) are really worth the try. but if the customer service is not improved then this place is not worth a try.

i just loved this place so much... both the ambience and food wise... cost was very much okay and the highlight was they bring food orders to the table very fast... their menu rates are very nominal with limited quantity so that we can try many varieties... we ordered nanari sarbath, appam and varutharacha kozhi curry, idiyappam, pathiri, syrian irachi fry, ellum kappa, avoli fish fry, prawn in banana leaf, prawn puttu, tendercoconut pudding and kandhari ice cream... and i couldn't stop with 1 khandhari chilly icecream nd ordered one more to enjoy the taste completely.. totally superb place and a good place to try out for those who love kerala cuisine...

the food is finger licking good. must try duck mappas with vattai appam. muttun fry and mutton curry along with chicken and mutton puttu really goes well. squid fry is just rightly pan fried. mussels fry is another spied up treat. awesome palada payasam and tender coconut pudding and payasam. service is very attentive.development part - the portions needs to improve significantly.. also we ended up some items which we did not order..however we paid for it😆..actually we ordered it again ... thank suresh..for making us feel at home...

i love kerala food and absolutely loved this place. after a long time, i had a very satisfied meal. be it the ambience, service or taste, there was no compromise.

ambience - very authentic and cozy. you'll like the vibe this place gives.

food - i don't remember the names of the dishes, please parson me.
for starters we ordered, prawn semi dry - was spicy and so flavourful. beef fry - taste was perfect. cooked really well.
red rice with fish curry - loved this. the fish was so succulent. the taste of the curry was perfect.
desserts - elaneer payasam and tender coconut pudding. these were yummm. just close your eyes and order them. must try!

pricing - was very nominal.

service - ultra quick. that's what i loved about this place. they were very friendly too, suggesting us what to order according to our taste.

definitely going back, multiple times!

bon appetite :)

it was a tuesday evening , my frnd and my self got bored at work.
our hobbies is to go try new food and resturant around us. we came across this "kappa chakra kandhari"

the review was nice on online so we decided to check this place.

1.coming to the ambience , it's peaceful and calm it's quiet busy but still we got table

the lights and mud pot with water was awesome and presentable.

2.food

as i am a mallu... i know the food that i have been eating for like 30 year.. i believe my knowledge of kerala food is good and my review gonna be genuine.

we ordered
1.puttu
it's okay and it's not hot and papadam was soggy.

2. kappa and meen curry

kappa need a little more cooking and fish curry it's normal. i didn't find coconut oil flavor

3.beef idichadu

i stopped eating beef... so i didn't taste it... it's look nice and my frnd said its okay

4.beverage

it was nice

5.palazham pori

i was so much disappointed as its not served hot.

6. i forgot the prawn. it's was nice i liked it.

service

it was quick... we got everything in 10 min.
everything was pre cooked i guess... as it wasn't hot.

the glass was dirty like some gravy on it. used glass by previous customer i guess.

i am a chef and i love food. plz make justice to the food you serve.

thank you!!

taste wise really good, we tried for birthday celebration, all are enjoyed much. they've explain each food really detailed. especially mention chicken and prawn puttu. must try would be nemiseri idli and nemiseri checked curry. but only quantity is really less and bit more expensive.

as a malayali, it is hard to come across a restaurant that goes beyond the commercially popular kerala dishes, and serves you your childhood on a plate. just as their description read, their menu and the taste of the food on the menu for a true blue malayali, is like visiting your grandmother or aunt, or going home for the holidays where you eat chena fry, chatti mean curry, ulli theeyal, pineapple banana curry.. the kind of dishes you only get at home. the real deal. so if you’re looking for the real deal in malayali cuisine, look no further. kappa chakka kandhari gets a 10/5 .. i left the restaurant feeling like a happy little well fed child at her grandmother’s for the summer holidays.

love the place and food... really good taste and quality... bestest dishes are calamari fry and kappa biriyani... tender coconut pudding is a must have and butter milk is way too good... but the only disappointing thing is the quantity... other than the quantity there's nothing to be remarked about...

visited kck today for lunch.
we ordered kakka erachi, kappa vevichathu, ramassery idly, vatayappam, kudampuliyitta varal meen curry with steamed rice, pazhampori, tender coconut pudding, chakka ada and absolute kandhari.
absolutely loved the pazhampori (though it was kind of too oily), chakka ada and the pudding. the absolute kandhari takes your taste buds on a ride.
overall, a great place to have kerala cuisine which is easy on the pocket.

what : ramassery idly, pathiri, appam, kadala curry, kck chicken fry, elaneer payasam

situated on haddows road opposite to the old passport office, this place is hard to miss. parking is available for about 05 cars in the entrance of the restaurant and they have valet service too, hence parking is not a problem here. from the name of the restaurant it is evident that it is a place that serves kerala cuisine. for those who are wondering what the names mean kappa stands for tapioca, chakka stands for jackfruit and kandhari stands for bird’s eye chillies. these are some of the most common food ingredients found in kerala.  the restaurant is pretty big and the tables are spaced well. the ambience and the cutlery have a very upmarket feel to it. you will also notice plenty of staffs around who are warm and welcoming. i had visited the place along with my friend for dinner. the table menu stand had a description about #ramasseryidli, which was one of their signature dishes. we also opted for #appam, #pathiri, #kadalacurry and #kckchickenfry. the idly was soft and the podi that was served with it tasted amazing, the pathiri and the appam were delicious and went along well with the kadala curry. the kck chicken fry was nice and crunchy but found the quantity of it to be a little less. for dessert, we opted for the #elaneerpayasam. it was cold and thick and was absolutely delicious as well. overall a place to visit for the authentic kerala cuisine.

if you're looking for a sumptuous dinner which is pretty simple yet fingers licking delicious and feels like coming from your amma's kitchen, (note: south indian; specifically mallu) this is the place for you! also, toddler (at least mine) approved. we also loved the overall quiet ambience, distantly laid out relaxed tables and the super courteous and awesome staff apart from the food.
we tried tender coconut pudding, elaneer payasam, appams with veg stew, beef curry, ramaassey idlys -served with podi and sambhar and the super awesome goli sodas. the pudding and the idlys are a must try.
bottom line: recommended highly even if you're a vegetarian and if you're not, you are in for an even more varieties of delightful food from the corners of kerala. also what else works well- a bit easy on pocket :-)
