now renovated to kahaaani.. has a beautiful ambience. menu is very promising with wide range of selections giving all sorts of options for all palletes.. we were a group of five .we ordered a variety of starters and soups.. all were exquisisitely presented and tastewise satisfying. crispy threaded chicken and bird eye chilli fish were showstealers. dynamite paneer and mini samosa were a bit too sweet for my liking.spinach soup was average and almond chicken soup wasgoodbut lacked seasoning. tandoori bread basket was good
main disappointment in my outung were lack of coordination in serving causing alot of delays.. we could see our starters and soup ready on the side station for agood5 minutes but not being delivered to the table. and after clearing all our starters we had to wait agood20 minutes nd three reminders for our main course. for half full restrnt, thats a very unwelcome delay between courses spoiling the whole rythm and mood of our meal. lamb biryani and tandoori chicken lacked seasoning and we made the mistake of passing the honest comment to the server when he asked for a feedback. for which the reply was that may be we are used to too much salt in our food.. this was a real insult for me being a chef myself . last visit also we pointed out that our indian dish was garnished with parsley by mistake instead of corriander, it was not taken
well and we were offered a live demo of different herbs 🌿 to which i just kept quiet.i am not of the belief of a saying that customer is always right.. but they are not always wrong either.. understand the difference between a comment and a complaint . take it in the right sense. we were just criticizing constructively.. we just wanted a promising restaurant to do better..
all the best.
