beef chatti choru - is a traditional kerala meal served in a clay pot.it consists of rice served with dry veg stir fry (sabzi/poriyals/thorran), semi gravy like beetroot pachadi (beetroot cooked in tempered curd) , errisery (red lentil cooked with pumkin and coconut), coconut/mango chamanthi (dry chutney), beef fry, beef curry, pickle, papadum and payasam (kheer).the bottom part of the clay pot will have a layer of gravy mixed with the rice.it is one of the best earthen pot meals and will take you back to the local street flavours of kerala.according to my parents it reminds them of their school day tiffin.
we placed this take away from @airlinesrestaurant. there are other options for the same incase you prefer chicken/fish/veg. if you grew up in abu dhabi, you would have definitely had food from airlines and the restaurant has maintained their quality of food and service.this place has been the usual caterers for every birthday/wedding/get togethers/any celebration in town since years. incase you are calling for home delivery, advice you to contact early as delivery takes quiet some time, it took us around 1 hour and that's long time for delivery!
