kabuki

5 stars all around. i was wary about the service thanks to a lot of these other reviews, but i literally just had the nicest experience at kabuki that i absolutely needed to share.

my server was a very nice young lady who was polite and attentive - far more than i can say for most restaurants. i asked if she would help me to find something different than my usual california roll and she provided with elegant descriptions of her favorite dishes. before i could text my husband to let him know i'd made it safely tokingof prussia and had stopped for a bite of sushi, she returned with my order and a smile. literally - i still hadn't had time to take off my scarf!

she also helped me to pick out a take out dish, which could be enjoyed the next day as i knew i wouldn't have time to dine out, and had it to the table as i was finishing my meal. i was also surprised with a tasty, and complimentary, fruit dessert before leaving.

i can't say enough good things about this experience, i wish i could be inkingof prussia to enjoy more. prices were very reasonable and by the constant influx of customers i observed from my table, i can tell this is a local favorite. i figure this is the best way i could thank this privately owned restaurant.

best sushi i've had in a while. i was in the area attending a training course, and decided to try kabuki since it had good reviews and was only 2 miles from my hotel. the fish is very fresh, and the chef/owner is very meticulous about keeping his work area clean. he reminded me of another place i used to visit frequently in michigan. but, this is about kabuki... i ordered a sashimi appetizer, the lobster roll and salad, and everything was freshly prepared and the ingredients were fresh. i loved the food so much that i ate there 3 nights in a row, trying different dishes. i definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good sushi. if i go back to thekingof prussia area again, i will definitely be going back to kabuki.

our favorite local "go to" place.. my wife and i go here all the time. it's our "go to" place when going out for sushi. the food is always fresh and good. we go there enough that the owner knows us by name. additionally, if you call ahead, he will order any special fish that you request. there are many places in thekingof prussia/wayne area, and this is our favorite by far.
