easily the best sushi in montgomery county. attentive service, delicious fresh sushi presented in a beautiful arrangement (and pretty quickly at that), and a very pleasant yet simple setting. what more could you want when in the mood for excellent sushi? worth every penny, and it's not overly pricey either.

best around!. best sushi rolls around- by far! we are considered regulars here and always have great service, excellent quality of fish, and a great overall experience. a must have as far as sushi goes in kop. great selection, quality, and always a seat open!

i really enjoyed my experience at kabuki! the only thing i missed, when reading reviews, was that it is byob, and i was really looking forward to some hot saki! i sat at the sushi bar, and right after i ordered the sushi chef handed me a yummy dish that was on the house! the rest of the food came very quickly, including my miso and seaweed salad. the sushi was fresh and delicious! i'll definitely be back when i'm in town again.

went there for lunch with a coworker. the food was good, though nothing extraordinary. the service was nice. i would say i got my money's worth.

great food, great service. ate here for dinner on a saturday night. had a delicious fried lobster specialty roll. very attentive service. complimentary orange slices were also delicious at end of meal. we will be back.

only negative was that my soda was flat.

5 stars all around. i was wary about the service thanks to a lot of these other reviews, but i literally just had the nicest experience at kabuki that i absolutely needed to share.

my server was a very nice young lady who was polite and attentive - far more than i can say for most restaurants. i asked if she would help me to find something different than my usual california roll and she provided with elegant descriptions of her favorite dishes. before i could text my husband to let him know i'd made it safely to king of prussia and had stopped for a bite of sushi, she returned with my order and a smile. literally - i still hadn't had time to take off my scarf!

she also helped me to pick out a take out dish, which could be enjoyed the next day as i knew i wouldn't have time to dine out, and had it to the table as i was finishing my meal. i was also surprised with a tasty, and complimentary, fruit dessert before leaving.

i can't say enough good things about this experience, i wish i could be in king of prussia to enjoy more. prices were very reasonable and by the constant influx of customers i observed from my table, i can tell this is a local favorite. i figure this is the best way i could thank this privately owned restaurant.

i disregarded the other reviews because it had a 92% "liked it" rating. don't. the service really is slow, none of the food comes out at the same time & they forget your food. the food itself is really a disappointment. items ranged from bland to overly seasoned. skip it.

crunchy spicy roll and hawaiian roll and california rolls were all good. service was too slow.

food was good. service was substandard ie waitress forgot about our order. restaurant was busy. they need more staff.

meh - could be better. cokes were flat food was cold. sushi looked pretty good but i would not give this place a second chance.

disappointed. to start i would like to say that i did enjoy the baby octopus and the green tea. unfortunately those were the only things that i liked that i ordered. the miso soup was a nice size bowl but it was very watered down. the sushi rice seemed to be just rice not sticky rice in the rolls and rice was very bland. the fact that this sushi bar did not serve saki, plum wine or beer really takes away from the atmosphere of the dining experience. the floors were absolutely disgusting and are in great need of shampooing or replacement. overall the prices were very high for the portions and quality of food received. it really stinks that the rating was so high for this place i feel i threw a lot of money away eating here. if anyone is ever in wilmington nc and wants to eat some of the best sushi they will have ever had stop in at genki off of new center drive. the prices there are low and everything on the menu is top notch.

best sushi i've had in a while. i was in the area attending a training course, and decided to try kabuki since it had good reviews and was only 2 miles from my hotel. the fish is very fresh, and the chef/owner is very meticulous about keeping his work area clean. he reminded me of another place i used to visit frequently in michigan. but, this is about kabuki... i ordered a sashimi appetizer, the lobster roll and salad, and everything was freshly prepared and the ingredients were fresh. i loved the food so much that i ate there 3 nights in a row, trying different dishes. i definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good sushi. if i go back to the king of prussia area again, i will definitely be going back to kabuki.

our favorite local "go to" place.. my wife and i go here all the time. it's our "go to" place when going out for sushi. the food is always fresh and good. we go there enough that the owner knows us by name. additionally, if you call ahead, he will order any special fish that you request. there are many places in the king of prussia/wayne area, and this is our favorite by far.
