worst restaurant in yakima!. the last few times i have been tokabobhouse they have screwed up my order. the first time it took them 30 minutes to get my to go order ready and there was at the most only 4 customers.

they have by far the worst customer service in yakima. i called them to place a go order an hour before they closed as i was in the general vicinity and was on my way home from visiting relatives in the area. only to get a response saying that they closed at 9. i called them at 8:05 you're telling me you can't make a lamb gyro with fries to go in 15 minutes?

and if you want your ordered delivered, you might as well forget that one. i asked them to deliver one time only for them to tell me they don't offer delivery which it states on their menus and in their store.

btw just food for thought, they also run a ponzi scheme which in the same complex.

this is by far the worst restaurant in yakima. stay away!!!

delicious. the lambkabobwas tender and grilled perfectly. also had a gyro dinner, which was also delicious. super polite and friendly staff. the kitchen staff all wore gloves while preparing the food. we even had a sample of the baklava which was wonderful. the prices were exceptional for the quality and amount of food given. definitely a thumbs up. would love to have thekabobhouse in wenatchee!

worst mediterranean food i've ever had. just moved her and thought i would try this restaurant. the service was horrible!!!! we had to wait forever for our waiter who was doubling as the cashier and busing his own tables. another waitress finally showed up a little after 6. i met my husband at the restaurant and he arrived before i did. it took about 10 minutes before the cook finally told the guy to come take our order. it took about 30 minutes for us to get our food delivered to our table. i ordered a chickenkabobmy husband ordered lamb souvlaki. the chicken was dry and the rice was dry and crispy. my husband's lamb tasted more like beef than lamb? his saffron rice had no flavor and the greek salad they served him was cucumbers, bell pepers, feta, onion, & some olives.( i should have been suspicious when i heard the microwave beeping.) i hadn't eaten since 11 in the morning so i ate all of my "bag salad" and some of the chicken and rice. my waiter took forever to come back and when he asked us how our meals were, i told him mine was terrible. he thought i was joking, i told him i was very serious. he said, well you sure ate a lot of it. he came back and said he was sorry that my meal was not to my liking. no offer to take off part of the cost of the dinner. the restaurant was busy but that's probably because they don't know what good mediterranean food tastes like. i have eaten mediterranean food in chicago and seattle and it doesn't taste like anything i ate tonight. i won't be back! i will let everyone i know not to bother. disappointed!!!

my favorite greek/mediterranean cuisine in yakima!!. i have loved thekabobhouse ever since i set foot inside it in 2009. the food and the ingredients are always fresh and the waiter, waitresses, and cooks are friendly and have some of the best customer service i have ever seen. its truly a one of a kind original restaurant in yakima. the inside has plenty of things to grab your attention including the two tvs playing entertaining foreign music videos. i love that the ingredients are always fresh and tasty with lots of flavor and the gyros are bursting with soft and flavorful gyro meat and other ingredients. the food takes a little longer to prepare but of course this is typical for a sit down restaurant with this type of cuisine. i am always willing to wait longer for food that is freshly prepared. i highly recommend that you try this restaurant if you want good quality food and service. i promise you wont be disappointed!

i went tokabobhouse for the first time and as a persian person i rate their food and service excellent. try their kabobs its awesome

every experience atkabobhouse has been delicious, to me. reason being: they have the most delicious hummus, especially the spicy hummus. also, the salmon dinner is a must have. i am very picky with my food, especially seafood... butkabobhouse never fails with their consistency of great, taste-bud blowing meals.

vegetarian positive!. love thekabobhouse's menu with lot's of veggie options. the falafel is crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and tasty. the hummus is fantastic, and recently they branched out to other flavors such as cilantro, garlic and spicy choices. their pita bread is always tender and fresh and scrumptious. i love their appetizer for two plate. it is a massive amount of yummy food for 8 bucks, and the olives are the cherry on top. we love the dolmas and the falafel sandwich as well. the hot suace (i think it's harissa?) is delicious on the falafel sandwich. my only complaint is it takes quite a while to order and to get the food. it is always worth the wait, but i wouldn't go there if i was under time restraints.

yum!. i love thekabobhouse!! the food is unique and tasty! i haven't had anything i didn't like. and the staff always greets you with a smile. :) i luv it!!

thekabobhouse is awesome. great service, friendly environment, and delicious food. oh and very reasonable prices! being a former employee, i can honestly say the food is fresh and for the most part fairly healthy for you. my favorite is the chickenkabobentree with greek salad and rice. i wish there were one here closer to where i live now. stop by and try it out for yourself!

be aware: when i first started coming here, the falafel tasted homemade. the second time i had them, they were huge and dry. i told the waitress they weren't very good and she said they vary by who makes them and it comes from a box mix! seriously?! their dolma are likely from a can. they sell both in their store. i also know their baklava is from a frozen package as i saw one of the waitresses puting more out. that being said the highlights of the place is their hummus, gyros, kabobs and moussaka. what i don't care for is their inconsistency in the dishes they carry daily, their very spotty and sometimes unknowledgeable staff and their not so clean bathroom (once it was down right disgusting!). i know this sounds like a bad review but the dishes above keep us coming back for more. it looks as though they'll have some competition in the near future with a restaurant called ”mediterraneankabobhouse” opening up just a few blocks away.kabobhouse better think about stepping up their game!

well... ?. first let me say to take what i say with a grain of salt because the only way to truly tell if a restaurant is good is to go there yourself. having said that, i will say that i won't be back to thekabobhouse. the meat was tough. no getting around that. the greek salad was boring in my mind. and it may be that i just don't like this type of cooking, the seasoning and all. (i thought the beef had a mean salty streak to it.) but try it. a lot of people likekabobhouse. i'm just not one of them.

revisited march 5th bad night. the day after the unexpected experience i received. i called the manager explained what happened. believe it or not he heard about the incident before i called. to refresh your memory or just reading this for the first time. i went there and sat there at a table for over 10 min without any one approaching us. we ended up leaving.

now getting back to the review. the manager took care of the matter and was resolved to all parties involved. i was happy with the outcome. i will be back there again real soon.

if you have a problem with the food or service at any establishment. i encourage you to say something it is the only way they can improve or know what is either happening or not happening.

must have been a bad night. i have gone to thekabobhouse many times. i drive all the way over from terrace hights. i was looking forward to another excellent dinner. however that never happened. we made it there safely got there before closing it was around 6:30pm. there three staff on hand that i saw and including us there were two tables of two and one large table of about 8 guys right when you walk in. anyway, as we entered and a few other times made eye contact with one young male there took a seat . we sat there for over 10 minutes not one person approached us. decided to get up and leave. the staff looked at us as we were leaving. i thanked them for the lack of service. not one of them said a word just let us go.

my advise to you is you can not let that happen again. due to you will be getting some competition down the road. if you can not get to me right away at least say something so i know you know i exist. i will be calling the manager or owner tomorrow to share my experience.

so good!. i live in ellensburg, but often find myself being forced to go to yakima to pick up things not available in the burg.kabobhouse makes this trip 100x more bearable. their food is fantastic for a wonderful price. we showed up hungry, ate our souls out, and brought home 2 doggie bags. most dinners come with a delicious greek salad, but i highly recommend getting the veggie tray to start off with (ask for a side of their awesome hummus to go with it). their pitas are always warm and delicious. their staff is very enjoyable and friendly andkabobhouse has an adorable atmosphere. i've heard rumors that they may be coming to ellensburg, and my only complaint about the restaurant is that they aren't over here now! go there now!

quality food at an affordable price. i during the weekdays find myself ordering fromkabobhouse at least a couple times a week. finally healthy food delivery in yakima! it's very convenient and at no extra cost for delivery. i had them cater in my weeding and everyone loved the food! thankskabobhouse!
