the ambience will give you a feel of indian street. the service was good, fast and people were friendly there. food was good too, perfect spices, the veg and non veg both were good. mojito was good, but bollywood lassi was not that good. the presentation was superb. but we all know that quantity is less in these kinds of fancy restaurants. veg biryani was a must try. non veg biryani is a strict no no.chickenlasagna was also good.

loved every bit of my visit here. tried their suryaday drink, rangolichickenlollipop and nariyal murgh and everything was super yummy. nariyal murgh was the best of all!❤️

was disappointed in all dishes we ordered except for the dessert. we had butterchickenlasagna ( not seasoned + soggy), lava fries (nothing special) and wow powchicken(soggychickeninside slider buns)

this place is located at pearl island, near novo cinema, facing nandos. been to this place twice, before and after they changed the menu. tried lava fries, aloo appetizer, butterchickenwith rice, fresh orange and khan cocktail (mango, orange, apple, vanilla ice cream).
the best things were the appetizers. as for the butter chicken, it was undercooked. i have informed the waiter and he managed to get it cooked more, which was not 100%.
the welcoming staff was attentive. but the waitress was slow and didn’t show interest, it felt like she was having a bad day. the waiter who fixed the butterchickenand got the bill was totally stressed out, as the restaurant was getting crowded. he took some time to get the bill which he apologized later.

all the items were superb yummy and with good portion size, can be shared among 2-3 persons. friendly staff, nice ambience with good music and good service altogether.. fine dining price justified with good portion size..fusion well executed👍👍

jwala became one of my favorite restaurant ,we really enjoyed the ambiance and live music there .special thanks for miss chandni her suggestions like bangara colada and butterchickenlasagna made me and my family happy .overall it was perfect and added value for the time we spent .we will keep coming here always.

amazing indian food with great ambience !!!
been there twice and they served great indian food (freshly cooked) on both the occasions. ordered the jwala mixed tandoori, jwala lava fries (not very spicy), bermudachickenbiriyani and mohabatein (my favorite desert now). the staff is very friendly and attentive. the restaurant supervisor (ms. chandni) made sure we were taken good care of.
would definitely recommend others to visit :)

the first worst experience in pearl

so when u go to pearl for food or for any other thing u expectation is quite high with regards to service and food .

small cafeterias have better service then this restaurants .
super pricey .
we orderd biryani ( which doesn’t taste like biryani , we felt we are eating colored boiled rice)
butterchickenlasagna ( better then biryani but still , portion was quite less)

regarding drinks - completely tasteless i orderd kareena ice tea, they don’t know the meaning of ice tea it was not ice tea it was a mango slush instead and super thick.

above that it was served after we had our food and then the staff came and snatched the drink from me without even being sorry n said they forget to put sugar in that .

completely disappointed literally a waste of money

having heard so much about this place and many mixed reviews, i was excited and intrigued to try it for myself.

wow! i have to say that the food was pretty amazing. the flavours were wonderful and full of depth. the spice was just right and the colourful, fun and unique presentation was spot on!!
the drinks were flavourful and their names, so quirky 😆🤗

we left with smiles on out faces and our stomachs!🤣😜
yes, we will definitely be returning and would recommend to others 👍🏼

with the weather being so amazing these days, we decided to dine outdoors. of course, i couldn’t resist taking a quick tour inside to check out the interior and boy i’m glad i did! it’s fun, traditional and colourful! i loved the themed art/ paintings scattered throughout👌🏼

with the expected crowd on a thursday night.. we waited patiently for our call. we were disappointed with te service.. we had asked for 5 pax table.. and the plates n cutleries were kept for 4 and had to request for the extra set. we were served with water.. and they dint provide us with glass. and on asking.. they served us in disposable glass.!! food is not bad.. they were fast in getting the orders.. the new menu is fine. the lollylops flavours r gud n differnt.. dint like te butterchickenlasagne as i dint gt te taste of butterchickenand it too creamy and cheesy . breads got hard within a few minutes. anyways.. to travel all te way to pearl to get a good dining experience.. isnt worth it at all to come here! mite not come here again.. atleast on a weekend for sure!

loved the old menu.. was shocked by the new menu . whatever is on the new menu can be found anywhere with the same quality and better price..frankly speaking all the things that i craved in the old menu is not found in the new menu, i can eat butterchickenand birayni anywhere, this place is not unique anymore:) update your menu!

great ambience and great location. servers are attentive but management are not. i would have given this restaurant 4 but i will explain why it deserves what i rated. first portions are not generous at all for the price rather eat at zaffran for similar prices.chickenrangoli had decent flavor. the mutton roghan gosh was delicious but had only 4/5 peices of meat! the butterchickenwas average at best n again had 4/5 small peices of chicken. murgh karai was decent but again 4/5 peices of chicken. the biryani we ordered were literally a joke if u look at the portion.chickenbiryani was average but mutton was stale n had a fowl smell and i brought it to the the servers attention n he got management informed who just came n talked to me but didn't fix the issue by replacing the item or refunding the item or offer any other alternative. terrible service from management. never going back. people stay away there r so many better options in doha.

jwala is bringing something unique to the doha indian restaurant scene. the retro ambience with live music is something original and pretty cool. in terms of food, i found the butterchickentasted a little sweet for my preference but the mutton rogan josh was tender and well made. unfortunately, the naan was too greasy and what stops me from rating this place a 4* is the slow service. it took 20 mins to bring additional naan, despite a relatively quiet evening. despite this, i'd go back again and will hope the service is more efficient.
