junk is the exact opposite of their namesake. the venue is so much fun, with a dragon watching over you while you order, and mismatched tables and chairs that make you feel like you are really in asia. thefoodis fantastic, with the pork belly being a standout dish. this dish is served with the most tasty sauce and always cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and meat that will melt in your mouth. the bubble teas are very thematic, and you can spike them with vodka or gin! junk is a very casual dining experience, and you can order several dishes to share with others, or one main to eat alone. this is still my favourite restaurant on ocean street, if you are in maroochydore, i highly recommend giving them a try!
