ordered a $20 takeaway bento box today for lunch and it was delicious! lots of flavour and variety and fresh ingredients. staff were friendly and i love that they text you when it's ready so you don't need to wait outside. will definitely be back to dine in when restrictions are lifted.

i ordered crispy pork belly with salad and my partner ordered pad junk today. the crispy pork was so tender and well made, mixed with refreshing flavoured salad. pad junk is divine as well. definitely recommend this place!

i would call the menu confusion not asian fusion because it has not been executed well at all. if your into real authentic asian flavours then i wouldn’t recommend this place...

tasty asian fusion dishes that isn’t dear to the wallet. we enjoyed our dinner with fresh herbs. it gets really busy on weekends. the staffs are very accommodating when i didn’t want my bubble tea being too sweet for my taste

junk is the exact opposite of their namesake. the venue is so much fun, with a dragon watching over you while you order, and mismatched tables and chairs that make you feel like you are really in asia. the food is fantastic, with the pork belly being a standout dish. this dish is served with the most tasty sauce and always cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and meat that will melt in your mouth. the bubble teas are very thematic, and you can spike them with vodka or gin! junk is a very casual dining experience, and you can order several dishes to share with others, or one main to eat alone. this is still my favourite restaurant on ocean street, if you are in maroochydore, i highly recommend giving them a try!

very busy little place in ocean street. asian influence dishes - great for sharing with friends. self serve to order meals/drinks but once that's done the food comes very quickly.
lots of young people enjoying life,dining & being with friends.

junk by name but not in flavour! on a 35 degree day this popular spot was a blessed oasis from the searing concrete foothpath.

as we ordered our frosty monteiths on tap our eyes were drawn to the special of the day - spanner crab & watermelon on betel leaves. yes please! these were the absolute bomb. generous lashings of crabmeat with bursts of summery sweetness from the watermelon with every morsel. only wish the betel leaves were bigger to wrap the loaded fillings better. minor issue though. overall delishe. 👍

our next fav was the pork belly with a kaffir lime & dark palm sugar caramel. what we really liked was there was plenty of sauce, which was sweet without being cloying or sickly. 👍

chicken ribs were so tender, seasoned excellently with gunpowder salt, super crispy & not at all oily.👍

green papaya salads were executed really well - crisp, fresh & a decent chilli hit. 👍

top spot for quick bites and perfectly suited to sharing tasty plates over a few bevvies. good to know they do takeaway too.

defo need more junk in the trunk! would come back in a heartbeat when in town again. next stop: junk south bank to try the bao buns. om nom nom.

i must say i was a little surprised at how delicious this #ramen was! it was so full of flavour and generously topped with pork, slow cooked egg, nori. and that broth... omg.. i could have finished the whole thing if it wasn't the boys' dinner! 👨🏻👦🏻🍜

i love love love this place. every time we come up to visit we go here. excellent food and very resonantly priced. have to recommend the bao of any kind they are just amazing and the ramen is tasty ! only one comment to make in regards to the service. comon guys just look a little bit more enthused to be there, staff just come across a bit lacklustre at times. defs will be back though yum yum yum !!!

love this restaurant. authentic beautiful asian flavour with a great atmosphere. food is yummy every time. don't worry if it's to busy as the table clear fast.

loved it! very reasonable, super tasty, generous portions, awesome vibe. what's not to love?! had their ramen bowl, port buns and satay chicken rice bowl. oh, and an $8 pint of tiger beer...
